My recent experience at Spider Kelly's in Arlington, VA, unfortunately, left much to be desired. The restaurant, which should ideally be a haven for a satisfying meal and a pleasant atmosphere, fell short in several crucial aspects, notably cleanliness and the quality of the food.
First and foremost, the issue of cleanliness permeated the entire establishment. From the tables to the floors, Spider Kelly's lacked the level of cleanliness one would expect from a dining venue. The overall tidiness was notably absent, creating an unappealing environment that detracted from the potential enjoyment of the dining experience. Cleanliness is a fundamental aspect that significantly influences the perception of any establishment, and Spider Kelly's failed to meet basic standards in this regard.
The quality of the food further compounded the disappointment. The flavors lacked the depth and appeal that one would expect, rendering the dining experience forgettable at best. The menu, which may offer a variety of options, did not salvage the overall impression, as the taste and presentation of the dishes were subpar. It's disheartening when a restaurant's culinary offerings fall short of providing a satisfying and enjoyable meal.
To exacerbate matters, the state of the toilets at Spider Kelly's was particularly disconcerting. Maintaining clean restroom facilities is a non-negotiable aspect of any dining establishment, and the evident lack of cleanliness in this crucial area significantly impacted the overall experience. Proper hygiene is imperative for the comfort and well-being of patrons, and the state of the toilets at Spider Kelly's left much to be desired.
In conclusion, Spider Kelly's in Arlington, VA, unfortunately, failed to deliver on the basic expectations of cleanliness and quality in both its dining area and restroom facilities. For those seeking a dining experience that prioritizes cleanliness, flavor, and overall satisfaction, I would strongly recommend considering alternative options in the area. Spider Kelly's, as my experience reflects, requires substantial improvements in various aspects to become a dining destination that patrons can confidently choose for an enjoyable and...
Read moreOn Saturday April 22, I invited several of my friends to join me at Spider Kellys for drinks and food to celebrate a personal milestone. We were all traveling from 20-30 minutes from Arlington to meet specifically at Spider Kellys. As I arrived, the manager kindly provided me with two tables for our party. About 5 minutes later the second member of my party arrived and I mentioned to him that we should just take a peak into the main bar area since this was his first time visiting this establishment. He left his phone on the table to acknowledge that someone was sitting there and we took about 8 steps away from the table. We walk over take a peek and turn around to walk back and the establishment's greeter (heavy set, caucasian woman with colored hair) has my associates phone in her hand and is moving one of our tables to add it to another table for a different party. We immediately said to her, "wait this is our table". She said it was not, as we got up. We pointed out that she had my associates phone in her hand. She didn't care and proceed to move our table to realign it for another party. The other party told her they would wait for another space but for some reason she insisted on giving our table to them. This went back and forth for enough time for the situation to become awkward. I requested a manager and I as I waited to speak with him, she exuded a IDGAF attitude. The manager apologized and informed us we could wait for another table, however he said nothing to this greeter about the way she treated us. I and all the member of my party were African American, clean cut, professional men in their 40's. I hope that this was not racially motivated, however the attitude she exuded, coupled with the lack of respect, and the fact that the other party was caucasian concerned me. We immediately left and went to another bar. I will not be...
Read moreIt's one of the best place to enjoy there. Friendly crowds, nice service, busy place. It's great. They play decent mix music. The kind of music the play is R&B and hip hop, pop, reaggea hip hop, even dance. They even some throwbacks from the best of 2000's, 1990's and classic hip hop. They play music videos and songs at the same sequence with the DJ. That's what makes it very interesting to many dancers, guests, visitors, participants, and students from school. (Oh Really?) Yes, it's official alright. It's convenient, musical, fantastic, cool, and open minded. And everyone us welcome to enter the place. However, there's no price to purchase in order to get inside the party. Not even a fee. ( For real? ) Yeah. The guys which deress in black and stand in front is the security guards. When people plan to enter the place they suppose to put a symbol stamp on their hand. Fist part. They must do so to allow them to get in for free. (Why?) Because that's their duty to prove it. They want to let everyone know even you the one who's reading this page. Is welcome and accepted at all terms. No matter who you are, who they are, where they came from, (internationally), what they do for a living, what's their financial purpose, what's their heritage, what culture their in, what's their religion. It's 100%...
