Update: I've changed my 1 star review to a 4 star because the owner contacted me regarding my review and apologized and tried to make the very poor experience right. That means a lot. When the food is also made well and not sitting around, like the replacement order I received, the pizzas and boneless wings here are extremely good! I just wish he could get better help, some that at least have common sense and the ability to just apologize when things go wrong.
Prior issues: 15 min late after stated pickup time and I was told to wait when the food was actually ready. I was overcharged on a convience fee that wasn't stated. Plus all the food was cold from sitting so long.
I arrived to pickup my order of two pizzas and boneless wings a few minutes before the estimated time. The counter person told me it wasn't ready yet so I told him I'd sit down to wait. I heard an employee ask another if they put the boneless wings in the fryer and the response was, "No." So I waited...for 15 minutes. I went back to the counter to check on my order after the 15 and the person walked back and took it out of the heated area. I asked the employee if my order was sitting there the whole time because the workers knew I had been waiting since I checked in with them right before the pickup time. The worker told me he didn't know, he wasn't there at the time (just 15 min prior). There was no apology or anything either, he didn't give a crap. So...my food had been sitting up there nearly the entire time I'd been waiting while NO ONE told me it was ready.
When I finally paid, the bill was also more expensive than the website total had shown me. I questioned the extra $2.00 on the bill and the employee said it was a convience fee. I told him that there was no convience fee listed (on my email receipt) for me to pick up and pay at the store. (Plus, online it showed only a $1.25 convience fee if I'd wanted to pay online.) The worker just shrugged me off and said it was the convience fee. Again, no apology or anything.
As I said, the pizza and the boneless wings were both cold by then, visibly so. The boneless wings also hardly had any sauce on them. It was quite poor experience. I won't...
Read moreI came home from work to a flyer on my front door advertising St. Louis Pizza & Wings. It advertised a "Sports Special" (25 wings, 2 lg 1 topping pizzas) for $29.99, so we thought we'd give them a try. We ordered the wings with the hot sauce on the side. They repeated the order back to me correctly over the phone, and the receipt showed the sauce on the side as well, but the wings arrived with the sauce on. Not a huge deal, so I called up to notify them and get it fixed. I got transferred to the manager who looked up our order and confirmed it was sent that way in error, but he never apologized. He just told me he'd send out new wings to swap out for the wrong ones. After looking at the receipt a bit closer we noticed they had overcharged us for the Sports Special by $7.00. It showed the promotional title (Sports Special - $29.99) on it, but was Itemized out as $11.00 + $11.00 + $14.99, which equals $36.99. We called them again and spoke to the manager again, but he couldn't understand the math error and asked to call us back because he was too busy to figure it out right then. We said fine, we understood. When the driver showed up with our replacement wings (which arrived plain but then they didn't include any hot sauce on the side), he told us that the manager said that Corporate must have changed the price of the Sports Special and that's why it cost $7.00 more. We said, well it's on the flyer that was put on our door as $29.99... He said that they must be old flyers and just shrugged his shoulders. I asked if the manager was still going to call us back and he was pretty clueless, so I assumed we could just discuss with the manager still once business slowed down a bit. If the flyer says $29.99 and the receipt shows the price should be $29.99, then they should honor that price. It's a pretty basic customer service concept - to apologize and honor your advertised prices, but we never received a call back. The food itself was so-so, but because of their lack of customer service and being overcharged with no refund we...

Employees are not the way they were just last year. Different in every way. Specifically them caring and following safe food handling procedures.
Order placed at 5:31pm for a pizza NOT CUT (repeated back on the phone twice), toasted ravs, and wings. We were told 20-25 minutes.
Show up at 6:06. Wings and ravs appeared to be sitting on the counter. Pizza comes. It’s cut.
I ask for the pizza to be re made. The person at the register questioned it. Finally agrees and says 7-10 minutes.
Almost 20 minutes later the pizza is ready. Looked at it, obviously careless in the execution.
It’s a pizza and wings, we will live right?
I question the cashier about why “they” were touching cash and cards then handling food without washing; it is a clear line of sight. No answer.
I question the shoe choice (plain crocs) and no hair net(s). No answer.
The particular individual that was making the pizzas, again clear line of sight, came to the lobby to refill his dirty fountain cup and returned to making food without hand washing.
Dirty practices and bad customer service all the way around.
The heavily tattooed woman whom I believe to be the manager appears to have a special connection to the current employees.
The standards, service, and food quality no longer fit the location.
Photos below show the lack of hair protection and the original receipt from 5:32 clearly stating “no cut” on the...
