Store closes at 6 and I most definitely understand that once it's close to closing time, you don't want any more people walking in few minutes before closing. I, however, was looking for a particular item. I knew what I was looking for and when I walked in (15 minutes before closing) the two ladies made it VERY obvious that me walking up to the door was an inconvenience to them. I have done retail and customer service for 10 years, not a lot of years compared to others but NEVER made it obvious to customers they're an inconvenience. I figured I ask them for the perticular item and where i might find them to save time and get out of their hair FAST.... One lady responds with "I only work here two days out of the week and they're all over, I don't know what people have" and said it with a tone of "I really don't have time for you" and proceeded with "you can do it, power shop". the other lady was a bit nicer about it and so at this point I just walk out. And most likely will not return unless they get help and or better attitudes. 15 minutes and all I needed was maybe a solid 7 and if they don't know what they have, thats probably not a good sign. Read moreI just saw another comment about feeling watched like a hawk for like an hour. My daughter was carrying my purse because I'm disabled and it becomes heavy. She is 18 im 58. It felt weird being watched like that. My daughter let one strap of the purse slip down and we were immediately approached and asked if we'd like to leave the 2 items at the front. We did. Got a few things from the case. Spent 40 something dollars after feeling like I was being profiled in a weird way. It was sort of an uncomfortable environment. Read moreI am an experienced buyer and dealer. I shopped at this antique mall this evening. The Good: lots of amazing antique items not commonly found. A range of dealer pricing. It may not be easy in this location, but deals can be found. The Bad: The customer service was horrifying. There was an older lady working,who was fine, but the younger to middle aged blonde lady was horrendous, and I nearly walked out, due to her poor attitude.
