Was super excited to try Bread Winner's as the menu looked great. We had a 30-minute wait for a table for brunch, which seemed to indicate it would be a great experience. Got the text at 10:22am that our table was ready. We were seated at a table for two in a cavernous room with almost zero sound deadener, immediately adjacent to a table with the loudest 12 people on planet Earth, making conversation completely impossible and so loud that the server even commented on it after that party left the premises. Yes, not the restaurant's fault that the folks were so loud, but it seems that the management might have suggested to that group that they were impacting others' ability to enjoy the atmosphere at all.

The food came quickly and was hot, but I ordered the Chile Rellenos and got two cheese packets, not a chile in sight.

The server was attentive at the outset and brought water even after we paid the bill, which seems to be rare these days. But she did rush us through service, asking multiple times to clear plates before we we were finished, and then approaching us at 11:40am (table was ready at 10:22am, seated at about 10:25am) to tell us that we had reached our 2-hour maximum and needed to leave. Interesting since we had only been there an hour and 15 minutes at that point, there were multiple tables available and no one waiting at the front to be seated.

The overall experience, from the very loud party to the non-Chile Rellenos, to being rushed out because we had reached our time limit, was extremely disappointing. Sometimes a negative food experience can be offset by great service. Sometimes a negative service experience can be offset by great food. Neither...

This place has amazing breakfast options. When I visited Arvada, I went to Bread Winners Cafe and Catering, two days in a row! Originally I was walking around and saw that this place had a line for the food. I figured why not see how long the wait was. The first time it was around 20 min and the second time 30-40 min. The food was absolutely delicious! My experience here on the first day was amazing! The waitress was very friendly and nice to chat to (even if it was briefly). The food came out very quickly. First experience was overall phenomenonal. The second experience, well, the food was delicious still. I ordered the same meal I had a day before because it was too yummy. But the wait was a little bit longer than I had hoped, and not the wait to be seated, the wait for the food. I would say it took a good 40 minutes. Our waitress the second day was still friendly, but she seemed very overwhelmed. After we ate it took another 30 minutes or so for her to come check up on us for the check. The people who sat behind me didn't have a good experience at all though. Apparently, they didn't get their drink until AFTER their meal was finished.

Because of my second experience, I can't give this place 5 stars. I recommend you visit when you can afford to spare extra time eating. I was in a rush, so I was annoyed that it took longer to get my check than anticipated. This place has fantastic food though, so if you don't care about waiting (depending on the waiter and how busy they are), then I highly HIGHLY suggest this place for...

We were a family of 5, at first they seated us inside across from the patio, It was very noisy and overwhelming, and it was hot inside from all the people that were seated in there, but as theirs Customers, started leaving it did cool down but it was still very noisy we couldn't hear what anyone was saying at our table,, but Fortunatelythey had a opening in the patio area and we moved outside which was very nice 😀 👍 I didn't get the gentleman name that served up but he was very Polite. Courteous and patient, since we were a good size group with 2 teenagers, I had the Philly cheese steak and OR, I HIGHLY recommend yummm, my granddaughter across from me had a Caprese sandwich and side order of pancake with strawberry and whipped cream 😋 yummy it was very delicious, my youngest granddaughter had a Reuben, and OR , and the 3 of us had and shared a strawberry cream Smoothie, absolutely delicious, my Daughter and SIL both had two different types of Eggs benedict, I wasn't able to catch the names of them but they both very pleased with there selection and my daughter also had a side pancake Of banana fosters, and it was delicious cause I had to have a couple of bites of it yummmm, I would order there pancake anytime there absolutely delicious here ,I will or we will definitely be back again I highly recommend Bread Winners Cafe, I promise you want be...

Went here about two weekends ago with my girlfriend. My second time here. Maybe it's just the old man in me, but this place is just too loud and noisy for me. It is a bustling brunch place. They originally seated us in this small room near the bathroom which was incredibly loud and lots of traffic of people going back and forth to the bathroom and staff grabbing booster seats and high chairs and whatnot, I don't even know why they have seating in that room. We finally requested to move and were seated in the more main open area of the restaurant which was much better. My girlfriend had the salmon eggs Benedict which she really enjoyed I had the huevos rancheros which I thought was just okay. Our waiter was a gentleman who was very accommodating and pleasant to us. The first time I went to breadwinners I sat in their tented sort of outdoor area, my advice is if you go there wait it out and sit out there. Also, the cocktails are okay, but I ordered a Greyhound and it came with that ocean spray super sweet grapefruit juice I had to send it back and just ended up getting a glass of champagne because the orange juice they use for mimosa's is also the super sweet stuff ( please consider the Simply brand). The place is certainly great for families, I doubt I'll personally get back there too often though.

So I returned with some friends since it’s the only place serving breakfast in old town before 9 before the chain taco shop. Knocking it down to 2 stars. The hollandaise is not made from scratch, that is very clear due to the film on top of the hollandaise caused by the starches that are added to the powder mix to hold it together. The cinnamon rolls are also very clearly not made from scratch in house (ironic with the name breadwinners). Also why is there a pat of butter on the cinnamon roll?? Previous review: Quality has gone down. Used to be great, but I think the post pandemic era has made them cut more corners. Edit: since they want more info… and they “couldn’t disagree more…” Well, it’s been at least 6 months since I’ve been in but, here’s what I recall. I remember the tap water itself tasting awful and like it was put in a pitcher full of cleaning solution. The biscuits and gravy were extremely sub par, almost like packaged gravy and day old biscuits that could have just been store bought. The orange juice was clearly not fresh, and was probably from concentrate. The saving grace was the pancake, which was pretty good. Although it’s a shame you don’t just serve real maple syrup with your pancakes and charge accordingly.
