I ordered 3 catering boxes on June 13th for an event June 24th. Pick up was supposed to be 2:45. About 2:15 I called the store to make sure they got the order and it would be ready. They confirmed saying “it will be ready at 2:45.” I got there a bit late, almost 3, and was very surprised when they said they needed 10 more minutes. I told them I was expecting guests at 4 but I would wait. At first it seemed like they were working on the order, but then a couple of staff-members went to the back part of the store. When I checked at the counter I was told they were out of turkey, and “a lot of things” and the other staff went to call the manager to see what to do. So, I waited. And waited. The whole time no one seems to be making any sandwiches. Finally, I go back up to the counter and tell the I need to know what the plan is. They say they are waiting for the manager to call back. I tell them I don’t really have time to wait… I had just assumed ( because they said they needed 10 minutes) that they had 2 boxes done and were just trying to finish the last but it turned out they hadn’t finished the first one! I was like well I guess I’ll just take what you have. At that point they didn’t seem to know how to charge me because it wasn’t a full box. I did ask them to send my order to a different store and they said they couldn’t. They gave me my partial box and a receipt for all three boxes, saying the manager would adjust the cost “later” I refused insisting on a partial or full refund, which they completed. I was stunned at the lack of problem solving or concern- there were apologies, but no effort to solve the problem. I asked them to have the manager call me. I have not been contacted. I’m his was a disaster for the party I had planned. I’m insanely...
Read moreThe last thing your employees should do is blame customers for their own problems, especially when your food has arrived AN HOUR after ordering. The delivery guy immediately told me and my co-workers, "Just so you know, we don't deliver here." We told him we have ordered many times from them for company meetings, events, etc. and there has never been an issue. He didn't care to hear this and reminded us again you don't deliver here. After he gave us our food, he told my co-worker, "Oh by the way, you should really remember to put a unit number on your order". My co-worker had INDEED told the women who took our order over the phone the unit number. This woman on the phone was also very rude to my co-worker, didn't even tell her the total amount being charged to her card, then hung up on her. He then replied "Yeah well she isn't very good on the phone". What is going on here?! You do not treat customers this way. I understand stressful days, but you have to bit the bullet and be respectful to your customers. And if our address is too much of an issue to deliver to in the first place, don't complain about it to your customers. Our company will not be ordering from Jimmy...
Read morewe usually order from this location at leadt once a week - and always tip very well. Today i learned just how much they "appreciate" my repeat business... NOT AT ALL. The driver arrived with my $27.50 order so I handed him 2 twenty dollar bills and asked for $5 in change (the driver initially started to just walk away and did not offer me ANY change - thought he would just take a $12.50 tip without so much as a "thank you") - he replied by saying "I dont have $5" - oookay... you arrived unprepared for this delivery... so I asked for $10 - he says, "all I have are a couple of $2 bills". So I call his manager who tells me "he will be right back with appropriate change". AN HOUR LATER he finally comes back - with a $5 bill. SERIOUSLY??? after all of that, not only do you still expect ANY tip at all you expect (and TOOK) an almost 30% tip!!!! I will be telling everyone who will listen how DISHONEST and unprofessional the folks at this location are... I certainly won't order delivery from JJ's ever again. Talk about leaving a bad taste in your...
