I'm a long time (meaning more then 20 years) fan and customer of Papa Murphy's in general. For that reason, and even though prices have at least doubled during that time, I'm still giving 3 stars. That said, there is a common problem that needs addressing. That is employee attitude towards their customers. My latest experience at this store was not pleasant. It started with a phone call. I asked what the days special was. With a somewhat sharp response I was given the name but not the details. So I asked what that special involved. Again, sharply, the young man gave the info. The entire conversation had a "you should know this" attitude from the employee. Finally, he informed me he was having a hard time hearing me. This is okay, it happens. I explained that I was close by and could just come in to order. Without anything of response I was hung up on. About 5 min later I entered the shop to make an order. As I entered, employees began barking instructions at me. I started deciding and explaining what I would like but again, buy a young woman this time, I was treated like I should have this menu memorized and I was wasting their time. Even during payment she couldn't bother to allow me time to get my wallet from my pocket before demanding to know how I intended to pay. After all this, I waited for my order and watched as 1 by 1 customers entered, where berated in the same way, and were given very little help even if they were obviously having trouble following the employees demand like instructions. Look, I absolutely argue that these types of employees are under paid and under appreciated. However, this is not something customers can do much about and it's not their faults. Also, this is 1 of the busiest days off the year. Still, this attitude is common in this store if not exclusive. Beside all that, what happened to managers who knew to express the importance of always maintaining a professional attitude no matter what? To any one working in this type of industry; It is not our job to remember your menus, it's yours... So now, if I would like Papa Murphy's, I first have to decide if it's worth being treated as if I'm hated and ruining these people's...
Read moreThis Papa Murphy's has been here for many years and I've used it hundreds of times but unfortunately I feel like it has gone downhill the last 4 or 5 times my family and I have tried to eat there. The last few times the pizza has been wrong or I called in our order online an hour ahead of time and it was still not ready when we got there. Tonight on Pizza Tuesday night I tried to order and I had to call 3 times because nobody picked up the phone. When I did finally get a hold of somebody his name was Russ. He was extremely rude and gave me a hard time about everything I ordered. I ended up going to the one off of Wadsworth and will continue to go there. Much better service. We were having a get-together tonight and I needed to update my order so I called back and Russ told me that he had 50 tickets in that the chances of him being able to update my order was unreasonable and it probably would not happen. So again I went to the one on Wadsworth and I didn't even cancel my order for the one...
Read moreI ordered online and when I arrived to pay the person who helped me was rude. I was standing at cash register and no verbal acknowledgment was made. Not sure if it was a guy or girl but he/she had short black hair. They asked me what my name was, then said $12.48, then handed me my receipt. They looked at cart of pizzas behind cash register. My pizza was not there so I simply and nicely said I ordered the all meat. The person helping me replied in a very rude voice, "I know"!!! Then went to a different cart at front of store while I stayed at cash register. The person then plopped a pizza down at the end of the assembly line and walked to the back. Nothing was said to me to indicate that it was indeed my pizza. There was only 1 guy working assembly line, another guy sitting on a chair texting, and the 3rd person was the rude one helping me, well kind of helping me. There were 6 people waiting for pizzas in the lobby. Definitely a diasaster!! Very...
