Soul Sistah's Southern Cuisine — Restaurant in Asbury Park

I just experienced what you call bad business I was in a local business Soul Sistas on Springwood ave I Asbury Park one of the workers there was asking a customer did he want to try turkey wings or vegan meat loaf I asked oh you have vegan meatloaf made with beyond beef she said yes I replied okay let me get one I will get one for my husband me and the worker proceeded build about being vegan she even expressed that she was one until she went away to college she asked did my husband eat butter eggs mayo I said he's a full vegan only vegan products we even discussed shopping at Dean's Wegmans ect when the cook brought out my food I asked do you usually make vegan dishes they both laughed and replied that it's beef meatloaf I then said you said that it was vegan or I really wouldn't of ordered it the food was still in their possession and they refused give me a refund so I had to donate it to someone on the street bad business all the way around board I wasn't in their talking because they were personal friends it's supposed to be business maybe if he would ate it jokes would of been on that business especially if he haven't had beef in the...

My God these ladies can cook they are so few loving behind off my daughter bring me the salmon baked macaroni and cheese yellow rice this kid in college greens when I say seasoned to perfection, not one 6 ounce piece of salmon but 2 ...6 ounce pieces of salmon🤗🤗🤗$ 17 for this and it was so worth ever penny🤤🤤🤤 you could go downtown in Asbury and get one single slab of salmon with a handful of mashed potatoes bland and some bland vegetables and pay $22 plus ...hands down my sisters I also just ate the second piece of salmon , baked it in the oven and it taste......like it was just cooked the day I bought it hands down more power to you sisters congratulations good luck and I hope you’re able to open more restaurants soon and who’s ever in that kitchen give their wonderful taste in...

Wow! Absolutely DELICIOUS! I’m from NC. I moved to NJ almost 1 year ago. I have tried numerous Soul Food Restaurants and today decided to try this one for the 1st time. This is BY FAR THE BEST SOUL FOOD I HAVE HAD IN NJ!!! This place is a hidden jewel! Everything was very flavorful and cooked just right. I had baked macaroni and cheese, macaroni tuna salad, candied yams, potato salad and collard greens! It was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! The portion sizes were big! I have enough food for today and tomorrow. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Again, this place is a hidden jewel!
