I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lost Rhino Brewery in Ashburn, Virginia, and I have to say, the experience was exceptional thanks to the stellar staff members, Fawwaz, Fletcher and Chase.
Despite the brewery being incredibly busy, Fawwaz and Fletcher handled the crowd with remarkable efficiency and a positive attitude. He seamlessly managed the POS system while serving beverages with a smile, ensuring that every customer felt valued and attended to promptly. His ability to keep the line moving smoothly, even during peak hours, was truly impressive and greatly enhanced my overall experience.
Chase, who I had the chance to speak with briefly, brought out my food order and left a lasting impression. It's clear that he excels both in the kitchen and in running deliveries. The meal he prepared was delicious, showcasing his culinary skills and dedication to quality. Chase’s enthusiasm and hard work were evident, and I am grateful for the excellent meal and service he provided.
Additionally, I have to mention the Final Glide Hefeweizen – it was absolutely amazing and complemented the experience perfectly.
Overall, my visit to Lost Rhino Brewery was fantastic (in this restaurant guys humble opinion), and the efforts of Fawwaz, Fletcher and Chase did not go unnoticed. Their commitment to excellent service and quality made for a memorable outing. I highly recommend this brewery to anyone looking for great food, drinks, and top-notch service. The owner should be incredibly proud to have such dedicated and talented staff members. Cheers to Fawwaz, Fletcher and Chase for making my visit...
Read moreThroughly enjoyed our visit to this vibrant and popular brewery. It has both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The decor is bright and colorful. The main room where you order beer and food has mostly community bar height tables of wood slabs. It was a great way to meet other people and on this visit we landed up having a fun and engaging conversation with a lovely couple across from us.
Next to the main room is a arcade room with a broad selection of games and some tables. Several kids were there as their parents enjoyed a cold brew.
The third room was blocked for a event but was spacious and would also be a good choice. There appeared to be a bit more smaller tables.
The outdoor area is big with many tables.
The parking is ample as it is in a business park. There is no cost for parking.
The beer was excellent with our favorite being Dark Horse. The food menu was diverse. You order at the counter and it is delivered to where you are seated. We ordered the pretzel and chicken wings which were very good.
The ambiance was bustling and welcoming wit guests of all ages. Dogs are welcome. They do have tasting flights.
Great brewery, we...
Read moreI visited Lost Rhino in August 2019 excited to see the brewery and taproom that produced some of my favorite local beer. My girlfriend and I entered and immediately walked to the bar to grab a menu and select several beers for a tasting. We spent a few minutes picking our beers and then attempted to catch one of the two bartenders’ attention to place the order.
Not only were we not greeted when we walked in, we were never served. One by one, the bartenders served the customers around us, including some that arrived after we did. I visit breweries regularly, so this is truly as unbelievable as it sounds. After about 15 minutes of waiting and being ignored, we decided to leave and visited another brewery in Ashland. Note that this was a Saturday afternoon and the bar was not empty, but not crowded by any means.
Certainly the most disappointing brewery visit I’ve ever had, and the only one that resulted in me walking out the door without having a beer. Lost Rhino has some good beers, but based on service alone I would recommend one of the many other great breweries...
