I want to give this business a wonderful and the highest recommendation ever. The owner of this place has been helping our County's families in need with halal meals during their isolation. More than a review, this is an honor for me to write this wonderful act of generosity. I work for the health department. I have been providing referrals for food assistance to many families in need during COVID. When the families are in isolation, they do not have options to get their food, and even worse, many of them do not have money to satisfy their basic needs. The halal diet requests have been the most challenging referral to get a response, after several days waiting for help, I called the owner of this restaurant and ask for assistance. This wonderful and generous businessman offered me unconditional help for people in need of halal food during their isolation. With COVID, families are suffering not only dealing with their health, but with their needs for basic nutrition to keep their energy going. I am so impacted by the generosity of this incredible person for the quick and positive response to help families in need of food in our County. Thank you again for your...
Read moreIt was my first time visiting this restaurant, located across from Ashburn Village. I just happened to see this establishment while conducting local business, and I decided I wanted to eat a gyro platter. Little did I know that this place from the moment that I walked in would blew me away. First of all, I was greeted like I was a regular, but it was my first time here. I ordered the beef gyro platter with the works. And when I say the works, I mean fresh veggies and toppings that made my mouth water. These toppings really complimented the rice and beef gyro meat. I added one line of hot sauce, and thank goodness I did because it had some heat 🥵. The staff was so accommodating as I asked questions of this six year old establishment, and they set the atmosphere with regard to welcoming. I really don't know what more to say about the place because it was that good. And the food was perfect. I am a gyro coneseur, and I know when it's a knockoff or the real deal. This place is the real deal. Study the pictures, and you'll see how the food speaks for itself. I definitely fiche it five stars and recommend it to anyone looking for authentic...
Read moreChicken is usually more dependable but when it's not dry the beef is my preference (I hedge my bets and get a combo; carryover behavior from visiting their cars in NYC). Even a regular is a significant quantity of food, making the sides and dessert kind of pointless. I like to add enough white sauce and mix everything up so it's kind of like a paste, and then enough hot sauce to make me cry while eating - which for me is 4 'lines' and an additional packet. White sauce is just unhealthy, and the hot sauce has a lot of bitterness, so likely an extract, but it is simply a source of heat the flavor is in all the other ingredients.
Service is quick, people are nice.
4/5 because it's just not the cart, but I go here once a month if not more despite my complaints!
Edit after 5 years: toned down the negatives, added some detail unavailable when I initially reviewed. Very dependable and always a smash hit when I introduce new people to it! Hope they're around another 5 years at least! Kept their prices pretty sane in the past 5 years too, a rarity in the area and always...
