We really expected more from this place based on our experience at Abuelaâs little kitchen and the reviews here. The food definitely wasnât authentic, but still better than Taco Boy. We ordered the esquites which had almost as much mayo as it did corn. The quesabirria we got wasnât a quesadilla, but 3 birria tacos but pretty tasty. The carnitas tasted very gamey. The chorizo and potato pombazo was the most disappointing- mostly potato and very little chorizo. Usually even the grease from chorizo has out of this world flavor, but this was very bland. I am a huge fan.
I wish I would have taken a picture, but...
