Bojangles — Restaurant in Asheville

If i could give a 0 star to show the craziness of this 1 store i would. I literally NEVER EVER EVER write reviews on places but i had to with this one!! This place i cant see how they stay open because each time i have went there, its rediculous. The staff sucks an they really should hire new people. I was there last night and there was 2 guys and 1 girl working and they walked around like they didnt know what they were doing and kept looking up at the ceiling or walls to look for a screen with what they needed for a order “like you dont know where the screen is?! Come on now” (he just tried looking like he was doing something when he noticed i was looking at him in awe of how lazy and not caring they were) . They just slowly slowlyyyy i mean SLOWLY walked around in circles an was all over the place kept forgetting what they were doing or were needing while everyone was waiting for a super super long time on there order, like over 30 minutes. One group of 3 said they had been there 45 min. An they wasnt even that busy. An they all 3 kept talking an standing while they was supposed to be getting orders ready. They was out of some sides an once someone asked for some they said …..oh oops we are out of that, im sorry we are just out would you like a different side an then the person said no i payed for this, an he said oh…..ummm…..im out. Like okay go and make some more. An then someone ordered an 8 piece chicken meal an they said oh….. with a confused look…..um ill have to make more, that will take 20 minutes. Like dude, come on now i have worked in many fast food places, you make sure when you are running out to go ahead an make more. Also dont move so slow an just act super dumb about literally everything an then stand around acting like you are working when someone looks at you. An also dont stand around talking about “dude i didnt even wanna work in no fast food” an be laughing with your co-worker! 2 seperate families just went ahead an left after waiting and waiting and waiting for them to even ask then what they wanted or to tell them itd be a minute. I ended up FINALLY getting my food but never again will i go back to that store because when those 3 workers are working its like that every single time, no thank you ill go to the one on airport rd or in mills river!!! I work off of Long Shoals Rd and stop here for lunch every couple weeks or so. In the past they've had great service and good food, but it seems like they slowed down a lot in the past year. Now the last three times I've gone, over the past month, they've had "issues with the machine" or "the system stopped working" every time I've pulled up to the drive-thru. This last time I got a pretty snappy response when I asked if they knew when it would be fixed- "I don't know". I get that it happens, but this seems to me like an excuse for being short-staffed or something. All these times there has been a long line for the drive-thru, so I imagine they decide it's time to take a break after that lunch rush. I don't blame the individuals working, they shouldn't be forced to lie to customers to have their time off, but why is this such a consistent problem? I can only imagine how much money they're losing turning customers away. Maybe I'm making assumptions, but it does not seem like a coincidence. No other Bojangles that I stop at semi-regularly (Airport Rd or Hendo Rd) seems to have this recurring issue. Won't be returning to this one as it seems to be a...

I stopped by on my way to work around 6:45 am. There was 1 car in the parking lot and I saw a lady sitting in the dining area playing in the phone. Apparently she was the lone employee and responded to me at the drive thru. She stated that they were having IT issues and wouldn't be able to serve me. This was the same excuse one of my coworkers got 2 mornings in a row this week at this same location. When I drive by on the way home in the afternoon, the place is busy and apparently there are no IT issues. Is this a mornings only problem? Do the managers/owners not notice the lack of sales in the early hours?

The first part of this post was from events from late February and early March. Today, (3/29/23) I stopped after work to pick up dinner around 3:50 to find this same location (Long Shoals) closed. Honestly, they owners might as well shut this place down. My last few attempts have gotten me nothing but aggravation. I went to Smokey Park Hwy location to get dinner and was greated by a small yet hard working staff. The lady working the register was kind and courteous and gave me hot fresh biscuits. I give up on...
