Waffle House — Restaurant in Asheville

Omg!!! Best cheesesteak bowl I have ever had, I eat them once a week all around since I work in all of WNC! I love leaving great reviews! My order is funky but from start to finish they perfected it! Dianna (Maybe. She's a smidgen older and has short dark hair) was perfect on the phone and in person,! Friendly and helpful!!! And took the correct order EXACTLY how I ordered... THEN the cook, a younger black man was amazing at his part (sorry, I couldn't see his name from afar but wanted to give him a shout-out!!!!). Just so y'all know my order is funky.... Cheesesteak bowl, no onions, mushrooms with extra mushrooms, hashbrowns a little crispy, side of chili and side of pickles, sprite, and 1 orange juice... GUYS, BEST EVER! (*I didn't even eat the chili on top like I normally dump half on there because I took a bite before doing so and glad I did!!!) So good! The food was great and the service was great! (*there was a younger server woman there, but I didn't see or have any dealings with her this evening, so 🤷🏼) clean feeling when I went in to pick it up. Sorry, I didn't get a picture of the food before I devoured it! LOL, so you get this blurry pic since people scroll past without pics. 😆 🤣 😂 Enjoy! I'll have to go again for sure and update if it changes any next time! But 5 stars and keep up the great work y'all!!

PS THEY ACCEPT CALL-IN ORDERS, TWO OTHERS WOULDN'T TAKE THEM That I called into while I was...

the menu was limited during the Asheville catastrophes but the were OPEN on Sept 28th Initially there was just 2 employees, rian who was taking orders, packing the take out and doing the register. he was the ice and most patient young man I was told from another customer it wasn't his day to work either and hillary was working the grill also most patient and doing an amazing job...the line was out the door no AC the heat made it difficult to stay inside I was lucky cuz there were 5 in our group and we were able to switch off . These two employee stayed and served us patiently please commend these two for being first responders to many of us with no food. no power...no wifi we waited about 2 hours and was most appreciative to get sustenance rian and Hillary never took at break from the heat never complained that they were tired they were troopers ..they are hero's....and I thank you ....later a male employee came to help them and shortened the menu from limited to one choice sausage cheese hash brown bowls....that didn't matter cuz we were just grateful to get food period we were staying in a hotel and had no other options thank you for being open...

The lady we got as a waitress was so rude and had an attitude the entire time we were there. She didn’t ask us if we wanted anything to drink at first but when I happened to ask for more she acted like she couldn’t believe I was thirst mind yall I’m 5 months pregnant and with my 1 year daughter who. Then I asked for some butter she proceeded to say “dang girl you need some more”. She had previously only gave me one which I used for my waffle and need one more for my grits. Now when it comes to my daughter she begins to speak to her rudely. The service from her was so bad that we literally rushed to finish and leave. When it came to pay she thought we wanted to tip her so she ask if I want change and I sure said no and left. I tip all waitresses especially at Waffle House however if you mad at your life or your job and push that energy onto people you get nothing. Just to be sure she knows this about her it’s a bigger wyt lady with glass who wear these funky lol hair bows in her hair. If she treats people based on how they look or who they are she has...
