Starbucks — Restaurant in Asheville

It is sad to see this location continue to struggle with how to run efficiently. I come here all the time - I ALWAYS mobile order. We seem to go through periods of time of not knowing how to sequence but I always ignore because I realize people may be training. Now of recently I have noticed that we are ignoring mobile order and making them when convenient. Sorry but I thought the purpose to mobile ordering was so my drink was ready when I got there and I wasn’t waiting the ridiculous amount that it takes normally to get my beverage. Today I came in to get my drink that I had ordered 8 mins prior and realized they were busy so I was patient. For the next 5 minutes I watched the drinks that were ordered after mine be placed in front of me. I then see that my sticker is just placed up on the espresso machine chilling with four other stickers that are mobile orders. I then point to my drink and ask if she can make my beverage which she looks at me like I am crazy. I then watch her make 6 other beverages - all of the mobile orders that were after mine…trust me I checked. I asked to speak to a supervisor- who of course apologized and then went to offer me a card for a what $4 off (my drink was almost $8) I refused! That wasn’t why I was saying something - you are causing upset customers who loyally keep coming because we love Starbucks. Please correct this in your locations as this is not the only place I have seen...

As far as coffee shops go, this one is just blah. Typical for Starbucks, the coffee tastes burnt and the price is exorbitant (approximately $2 too much on every drink compared to the quality of product delivered.)

I would recommend investing in a Keurig machine for your own daily coffee needs, or even the McDonald's drive thru coffee selection before recommending the cost/quality exchange provided...

An employee had the audacity to say they’d rather customers come inside to pick up a big order b/c it’s not ideal to hand them through the window. That doesn’t make any sense. I am picking up a big order by myself and would have had to make multiple trips and they also do not have parking spots at the entrance. It seemed very easy for them to hand the drinks to me...
