Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Asheville

We had just gone to a free movie sponsored by AARP & were also given a free ticket for a scoop of ice cream at coldstone. We asked what we were supposed to get with it, since other people in our group were getting more than the free ones. I was told "any flavor ice cream & 1-2 mixins". I asked for salted chocolate caramel ice cream & toffee. But the server just gave me chocolate. I asked her if that was the salted caramel and she scooped it up and threw it in the trash. The server that waited on my husband didn't tell him he could have any mixins so he just got plain ice cream. I know they were overwhelmed with the number of people that came in the shop at one time, but since they're just down the sidewalk from the theater, you'd think they were used to it. AARP should have told us what we were able to get with the ticket, so they didn't have to keep explaining it to each of us. But, the ice cream...

This is one of my favorite locations because it’s shared with the Rocky Mount Chocolate Factory. I visit Asheville often and have been here before, but my last visit (Easter Sunday) was not a very pleasant one. I mainly went for the caramel apples this time. They barely had any to choose from and some of them looked liked they threw the toppings in with their eyes closed! When I asked the associate when there would be more coming out she acted like it was the hardest question anyone had ever asked her before respondIng, “I don’t know”. There was still at least 6 hours left before closing so it’s hard to believe they were not intending on making more apples. Then she seemed annoyed that I wanted my apples sliced. Hopefully next time (IF there is one) there will be a decent selection of apples and people who actually want...

Came down there to pick up my order, upon receiving, I realized I received a strawberry banana milkshake instead of a strawberry banana smoothie. I called the lady to let them know they had ice cream in my smoothie and she was like “first of all, I asked him (my boyfriend) if i could put ice cream in it instead because we were out of strawberry. Well FIRST of all little girl with the BIG attitude (ponytail must of been to tight on her head), he claims he didn’t hear anything of that nature, and you weren’t even the one making my “smoothie.” So I told her I needed a new one, so I was given a new drink, but they threw it down and walked away with a attitude.
