McDonald's — Restaurant in Asheville

When I got there other people in line looked to be waiting a while and said they hadn't ordered yet. When I finally ordered they charged me for my meals incorrectly which resulted in me paying more. We waited for quite a while for the food and finally went up to ask about where our food was and we were told that they accidentally gave it away to someone in the drive through so we had to wait for them to make it again which they were very rude about and didn't even apologize for. Finally when we got the food one of our fries weren't the correct size that we asked for so we went back up to get the correct size and they refused to help and just asked if I'd like to buy another fry, they did not offer to let me pay the size difference the only option was to buy a whole other order of fries. Finally my girlfriend had to go back up and speak to someone else before they would help. The staff that I spoke to was very rude especially the lady that was wearing the crew trainer hat. I'm visiting from Florida and have been getting my coffee ☕️ and breakfast here for a month. Carlos takes my drive-thru order most mornings. I've been in sales and marketing my entire career and I've got an eye 👁 for those that have that amazing gift of providing customer service at the highest level! Carlos is one of these people! I've been stuck waiting for my promo on the McDonald's app to hurry up and pop up with a line of cars behind me and he's calm, cool and collective with me, he's like " take your time and I'll just go over to the next customer in the other car line. I can't get the ap to work and he says just pull around to the window and I'll help you with the app! I would give it zero stars if I could, I drive a semi truck for work and called ahead to ask what I should do. They told me to walk through the drive-thru at night which I did. I get to the window and immediately the employee working the window is super rude and nasty to me telling me I have to walk and wait in the line of cars again… on the middle of the night… this is beyond dangerous and should not be allowed I could have easily been hit by a car and almost was. Then to top it off after waiting outside on the curb they finally let me come inside and have to write down my order and still have to wait for my food so something that should have taken 10mins and now turned into an hour plus venture… I will never visit this poor excuse for a food establishment ever again.
