I’d like to start my review by adding that I had called in advance and had a reservation for NINE (9) people. It has been clarified and reiterated to me both on the phone and in the restaurant that I’d made my reservation for NINE (9!) people. However, once finally seated, we were sat for a table for only 6 people.
When asked if there was any way to add a table, a manager insisted that once the table next to us (which had two adults and a baby) became available, he’d move the table over. This did not happen and we had to sit packed like sardines. In fact, instead of keeping his word, said manager then sat another two top at the table, even though there were several empty sections.
Our service was extremely slow, only saw our server a handful of times, and the entire party was nothing short of uncomfortable, yet we tried to stick it out as we were celebrating. After an hour and a half WITHOUT food and sitting uncomfortably, I went to the manager and asked for help once again to which he appeared annoyed I was asking to be accommodated for the guests for which i’ve made a reservation for that have been inadequately sat in the first place.
I think that the entire situation was handled poorly by management. A member of my party also asked the manager when he’d finally help like he said to which he replied VERY RUDELY, “nothing I can do” and hastily walked away.
I am EXTREMELY unhappy with my service. Would have skipped the reservation if I’d knew it would not have been honored. I was very embarrassed as all of my family depended on me for the reservation and came from out of state to celebrate ME, but we had to succumb to very poor service and treats meant from management. I would steer very CLEAR from this establishment if this is how it is normally ran and how customers...
Read moreWe called on Friday before Christmas Eve to inquire about holiday hours and made a reservation for 2 @ 4:30PM on Christmas Eve. We arrived at approx 4:20 PM on X-mas Eve to a mostly empty restaurant, only a handful of tables were being served. The hostess, Trinity, acted like she had absolutely no idea where to seat us, so she took us to the filthy crowded noisy bar and tried to seat us at the booth in the corner, which wasn’t even clean. I politely told her that my reservation was for the dining room and that I did not want to sit in the bar. Her reply was , “well, our bar is our restaurant”. She took us back out to the entrance where we stood while she tried to find us a table in an empty restaurant. I am not a drinker, I don’t hang out in bars, I don’t go out to dine to watch other people drink and watch sports on brightly lit televisions and I certainly won’t sit in a filthy booth. If the restaurant had been crowded and I had not called two days in advance to make a reservation, I would not have been surprised if a rude hostess had tried to seat us in the bar, but it was a special occasion for us and I did have a reservation and the hostess knew this. This was outrageous … rude, and it set the tone for our evening. NO, I would not come back … sadly to say, because PF chang used to be one of my favorite restaurants. The service was slow, the food was barely warm, and our waitress never checked on us until after we were finished eating. Thanks for nothing … We’ll know better than to EVER make a reservation...
