Planet Smoothie — Restaurant in Asheville

Three behind the counter working, or should I say 1. 1 was busy eating her own smoothie and checking her cell phone. The other was busy bossing the other 2 around and talking down to them. She was so busy she forgot to make my smoothie. Then when one finally asked if I was waiting on something, I told her what I was waiting on. So the bossy one, that took my order, made it. Definitely not the right ingredients. It did not taste like the normal Orange Push Up Smoothie. It was weak, and tasted mostly like water, and minimal to no flavor. But that could because she continuously squirted water in it before and after she blended it. If I had a repeat of this encounter, I would not go back. But because I haven't had this happen there before, I will try them again. Only because I love their protein smoothies. Service......

I used LOVE going to Planet Smoothie while visiting Asheville however, the last two visits were just disgusting service! Both employees had nasty attitudes. Overheard one of them discussing us to their little friend who stood on the outside of the booth as she ran her loud mouth about nothing. When inquiring about different products the younger broad would talk fast and low. The older broad with the ridiculously long eye lashes couldn’t even make eye contact. The experience was just nasty. I absolutely LOVE any and every smoothie I have ever had from Planet Smoothie. I'm a longtime customer - back since the early 00s!! PB&J and Grape Ape are my favs. The prices are totally worth it - it can completely fill you up just like a meal would. They're happy to do any substitutions or additions to their normal menu items so don't be shy. Always a friendly staff. They make each smoothie by hand and are efficient at it.
