Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in Asheville

Normally I would give four or five stars to Blaze Pizza 🍕. My last trip there was not as good as it should have been. Everyone was very nice - I want to point that out. However our food was not as good as it should have been. I ordered a keto crust white top pizza and ask them not to put the arugula on but to replace it with spinach. They marked out arugula but never wrote spinach. I brought it up a couple of times but spinach was never added. They said that I could have it added at the end. They were very busy when I went up to get my pizzas and I didn't notice that they had not added the spinach, nor did they ask me if I wanted it. Had they written it down like I asked them to, it most likely would not have been missed. The other issue was that the crust was not crispy at all. It was very doughy and could have been a much better meal. My son, who got a regular white top pizza, also did not have the spinach added at the end and his regular crust was doughy too. I ordered 2 simple side salads & they were good. However, to pay more than $30 for a meal and not get what I asked for on top of having icky crust was a bit much. Hoping they'll do better next time. For reference, I went to pick up the pizzas after 8:00 p.m. on October 25th. My order number was 94 at the Asheville store. Incidentally, the address of the top of the receipt has Asheville...

7/5/25- I have to update my review from 3 years ago. We stopped into our favorite pizza restaurant yesterday & I was very disappointed.

First of all, the temperature in the restaurant was frigid at best. We elected to sit outside in the July heat instead of freezing inside.

Then after a long day of hiking, I was in desperate need of a restroom & the restroom was so disgusting that it was unusable.

Furthermore , my daughter’s pizza came out of the oven first & a hair was sticking up out of the cheese. I refused the pizza & asked for another.

I waited patiently for the pizza and watched the remake pizza being handed over to another customer.

My son & I were almost finished with our pizzas before my daughter received hers, thankfully we had ordered other items for her to eat while we ate our pizzas.

Just very disappointing to see this slowly going downhill. I hope that there are some changes in the near future.

Delicious pizza, but closes at 9PM, not 10...

Ordered a meal for one through their online app. Was told it would be ready in 20 to 25 minutes, so I showed up a little early just in case (called in 17 minutes after ordering). When I called in to tell them I was there it was brought out immediately, took the picture, took a bite, and was surprised to find it was cold... Not luke warm. Cold. As in I wondered if someone forgot to put the sauce on and poured something directly out of the fridge. It also did not have any flavor. The crust was bland, the cheese was just okay, and the sausage might as well have been unflavored meat substitute. The crust was floppy and mix that with the sauce and ingredients were falling off my slices left and right. Also no napkins were provided. When you are serving food meant to be eaten by hand, that should be obvious to include. Needless to say I will not be going back and will tell my coworkers to avoid.
