Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Asheville

Ordered a 5 traditional wing basket w 3 tenders combo, came out to over 15$. All the food was lukewarm at best. Fries were gross and i threw most of them away. Ordered the wings at the spiciest level, they weren't spicy in the slightest. I ordered dine in, and was handed a bag and take out box. I took my order back up to the register after sampling and asked the young man (who seemed annoyed to be there) if that was indeed "nuclear" as I've had zaxby's hottest before but this seemed like "hot" at best. The guy behind the counter claimed it was in fact nuclear and gave me an extra sauce cup, which really doesn't address that problem. I relagated myself to just getting the experience over with and went back to my seat to finish what i could.

The dine in area and bathroom were on the dirty side as well. Also, there were no extra napkins to be found in the dining area, as well as ketchup save for the 2 or 3 squashed and leaking packs in their condiment bin.

Overall this place was pretty gross in their food and dining area, and is extremely overpriced considering i could have went down the road to a much better establishment with much better food.

I'll never be back, and will warn everyone i know...

I've never been to a Zaxbys and wanted to try it out! Unprofessional, rude, wasted my new customer coupon Zaxbys sent me. And held onto my phone is the back of the store where I couldn't see!

After signing up for their rewards program, I went through the drivethrough with a coupon for a free big zax snak, and ordered that and two of their Asian salads with egg rolls. The two girls working drive through were very rude, took my phone away to somewhere I couldn't see to "scan" the coupon(which took awhile), then came back to say that their scanner didn't work and they weren't going to honor the coupon.

I explained and showed them that there was a 5 minute time limit on the coupon, so I had no choice but to use it now, but they weren't willing to do anything about it. They were also charging me over $50 for my two salads and egg roll so probably messed up the order. I didn't stick around to find out how, but went to bojangles.

I should have read these reviews first! It appears all the negative ones complaining about the incompetent and rude service are correct. The way the girls acted, and handled the situation was super awkward, rude, and I felt like I was being punked with a hidden camera...

They have fried pickles that are the best. There zalads are fair to good. I don't care for their chicken. Now, I'm not saying it's a bad place because it isn't. The fact that I don't care for their chicken could be just me. Other people seem to like it just fine. Their French fries are your typical straight cut fries. Nothing special. However, I would eat there more often if they came up with a better fry. Other people are the same way. Most people love their fries and will pick a fast food place based on that. I would suggest cottage fries, waffle fries, home made potato wedges, or something different. When I'm on the road, I will gas up at a station that had fast food...specifically potato wedges. I didn't care if I paid more for the gas. Give me the wedges! Just some input to give corporate something to discuss at their meetings. And like I said, it's not a bad place. Go there and enjoy.
