It's McDonald's. .. . always a 50/50 shot what you get when you go to any of them anywhere has been my experience. This time we went in the later part of the evening around 7:30/8pm and the service was AWFUL & she was THE MANAGER!!--it was myself and my 13 yr old son, he was craving a big mac and a hot fudge sundae so we walked down to the mcds and went inside; we used the digital board to order but wanted to pay cash at the register. We stood at the counter for a ridiculously long time before we were even acknowledged at all and when we were finally spoken to it was only after this loud aggressive woman came from the back holding a bag and started almost screaming at the family sitting at the table adjacent the employee door on the side going into the dining area, now maybe I'm reading too much into it but the family was Hispanic, and they were definitely speaking Spanish amongst themselves it was mom, dad, probably grandma and 2 younger kids probably around 6-8 maybe 9ish?. .. so she stops holds this bag up at them like the bag has cooties or something and very loudly belts out while looking at them "quarter with cheese". . . She did the dramatic eye roll thing shifted all her weight on her hip shook the bag and yelled it louder -& this is the part--but she was speaking as if someone was "slow" Q-UA-RT-ERRR & CH-EE-SEAHHH" she did that twice never looking away from them the entire time. . . .maybe you have to be there but everything about this woman radiated just nasty attitude. Finally she figured out it belonged to one of her employees SMH. . . .she then turns to us never did take our money just rude rude rude like we were bothering her by being there or something? A few mins pass by and her arm comes from around back as she slammed my son's sundae on the counter and my son who is very outgoing, very polite, and just loves people he still made a point to try to tell her thank you she didn't even acknowledge him not any of the times he tried speaking to her whether it was when he asked her how she was doing to the several times he tried saying thank you she just completely ignored him SMH finally a guy who works there came in from outside I'm assuming on break and he asked if we'd been helped and the mean lady came back to take the money which she seemed even more irritated with us than she already was, pretty much throws my change at me as she barks at me that I "ain't getting no receipt cuz we ain't no more of the paper. We out " and went back to the back. . . The guy finally handed us the bag with my son's big mac and my son asked for a spoon for the sundae and here comes meaness again" it's in the bag! It's in the bag! I SAID ITS IN THE BAG!" . . . We both just stared at her dumbfounded. .. . .the guy was very nice and he softened all that by calmly and politely telling my son " hey lil dude we went ahead and put the spoon in the bag for ya-besides that is there anything else I can do for y'all?" We said no we're good as we turned to leave he told us thanks for coming in and to have a good rest of our night. That guy was amazing.. . . My son later asked me why the lady was so mad at everyone and did we do something wrong why was she acting like that?? SMH. . . I understand everyone has hard days and I don't know what she may have going on in her life-there very well may be some horrible behind the scenes stuff stressing her out beyond her limits causing her to lash out and if that's the case I sincerely hope things get better for her, however, even if that is the case and especially being the manager aka the literal face of authority and of leading by example she should be ashamed of herself treating people like she did the night we went!! Read moreDifferent staff different rules. One day I can pay for a toy the next I can’t. It’s a manger that is always there day and night she is sweet but this place needs to do better. I come here 2-3 sometimes 4 times a week and I haven’t had good hot fries in so long since moving to Ashland 6 months ago. They always say it’s fresh but I never need to blow my fries or wait until they cool down (they’re always cool for them to be fresh out the grease. Money is hard to come by nowadays so I’ll take my chances at the other McDonald’s until this one gets it together. If McDonald’s is not known for nothing else they are known for having good hot fries. My fries are always light, soft, and warm instead of brown, crispy, and hot. This store truly needs a new crew to support the nice manger who is always in that store day noon and night when I come to this location ( which has to have her burnt out by night shift and she still tries her best to keep going). People need to be retrained and understand the simple things like hot fries, HBO as soon as someone pulls up the window, a simple smile and “ how are you “….. Last but not least it’s an older lady who's always at the window in the mornings who needs to train the others on good customer service. Each time I’ve went for breakfast she always has my bag ready ( HBO ) with a smile and a “ have a good day “…….I know mystery shoppers come through during the morning and afternoon shift so it’s always a little better then the night shift but night shift needs to understand customers at night are just as important as the mystery shopper who comes during the day. Word of mouth goes a long way. Thanks to the 2 employees ( white short manager who works a lot and older black lady who works mornings at DT front window) you 2 are truly making the difference. This place needs a fresh start badly. Give me 60 days in this place and I promise I’d have the numbers down ( inside & drive thru sld wait no longer then 4mins, and 4mins is pushing it to get your food… 2 minutes 30 secs needs to be the goal to get customers in and out after that order hits the screen, it’s fast food for a reason ) , service flowing ( the lesser customers wait the more customer’s you will get in which means more money for the store ) and customers happy to spend money here ‼️ On that note on to the other McDonald’s I go to hopefully get better service and a good quality of food for...
Read moreProbably one of the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. And I am not hating on McDonald’s I actually like McDonald’s. But the people that work there wow. I went through the drive-through I paid and I went out to get my food the lady told me to pull up and park and she will bring my food to me 30 minutes go by I’m trying to figure out where my foods at another 10 minutes go by I went inside. The manager told me she sent someone out to my truck to bring my food. I looked at her and said does it look like I have food you’re more than welcome to come to my truck and look she was very rude and told me she already gave it to me and I would have to purchase another. And that is just one occasion. I went back again because maybe that was just a bad day.
