Edit: Below is my original review of the past 2 years I had the pleasure of eating some really delicious comfort food. Unfortunately the last two times are my last. They have since changed their bread on the Philly cheesesteak. It is comparable or lesser quality than Wawa / subway bread. It is dry, highly processed, and tasted like sawdust. I had talked to one of the managers a year ago and he said they have their stuff fresh baked, the recipe is a “Pepicellis secret”. True or not, they have clearly downgraded the quality of their products and it’s a 1 and 1/2 hour total trip time to go to their location, I simply won’t be going ever again. It’s really sad because they were one of the only places, besides Philly, to make a very delicious cheesesteak.
Below this line is the original 5 stars across the board review. I love Pepicelli’s Philly cheesesteak. There is no other place that compares, including Philly, sometimes, due to the simple fact of offering vegan / non cow cheese for their steaks. Absolutely sets them above and beyond any other location in the US.
Pepicellis is incredible, the service is usually top notch, occasionally it’s busy and only 2 people but they’re always making an effort to be accommodating & I’ve never had a messed up order, ever.

Read moreNEVER AGAIN. Waited over 2 hrs for a pizza and wings. And this is how it arrived, all the topping slid off the pizza, in a greasy box. My son called back they offered another pizza, I told him to call back because by this time it's already 9:00pm and I don't trust somebody cooking my food after you complain. So he calls and requests a refund and the so called manager argued with him saying we called the wrong location initially, which makes no difference because the manager from the other location called his store 5 minutes after my son placed the order and put the order in for him and called my son right back letting him know that what he did. So even calling the wrong store which the manager stated was the reason for the delay, is absolutely NO reason to receive food 2 hours later in this condition. When asking for a refund, this store manager at the Ashland location was rude and nasty and refuses, stating he had to ask the owner before he can give a refund. Total garbage and unacceptable after paying the exorbitant price of $36.10. And no I didn't eat that mess. If I could I would give it no stars. Don't waste your money ... go to Papa John's or even Dominos, save yourself some...

Today we called for delivery, as we always have, and the person that talked to me on the phone said they didn’t deliver to my house. Like I mentioned before we have been getting deliveries for 5 years and I asked him if they changed their delivery radius. He said no and stated it was 7 miles radius. My house is 8 miles apparently and he said he didn’t know how I ever had it. My husband went to the store to talk to them and one of the managers there said it was 6 miles. Well that is completely two different answers to two different people within a 30 min difference to the same exact address. (By the way they have delivered to our cousins down the next street who are even 4 more miles away from their store). I understand if maybe they changed their delivery radius but be honest about it and don’t say that we never could have had delivery in the past.
