I went yesterday to grab lunch...I was so excited because I LOVE seafood and this is a brand new restaurant closer than all of my other fav seafood restaurants such as Red Crab House in Laurel, MD...BeClaws, Hook and Reel, etc. Anyways....we ordered the fried calamari and a seafood boil that I never got to try because unfortunately there was the LONGEST PIECE OF HAIR that was deep fried IN the calamari. The most sick part was we’d eaten a good amount of the calamari before picking up one of the last few pieces and seeing the HAIR that was attached and fried right along with the calamari. I have no other words than ultimate disgust...& the fact that Covid is going on does NOT HELP!!!!!!! Still sick to my stomach over that. We let our server know and she told us she’d send the manager out to handle the issue. The manager and owner came and apologized over and over again and covered the entire bill and offered us to take the food to go but we declined. The cherry on top of it all...was our really nice server (at first) then came back to our table and asked if we were ready for our bill...now call me crazy...but who in the helllllllll is going to pay for or TAKE ANYTHING from your establishment WITH HAIR IN IT!!!!! Anyways...I then told our server to go back inside and speak with her manager so he could inform her of what’s going to happen. Like what the hell?!?! Needless to say, we’ll NEVERRRRRRR be coming back to the establishment. An entire restaurant training is...
Read moreI really hate to write a bad review and prefer to uplift businesses but the incident that happened today at Juicy Seafood was just ethically wrong. I went to pick up an order and I asked the staff if I could use a $20 and pay the remainder on card. She asked me if I could just pay the rest in cash in which I replied I only have a $20 in cash. She said that was fine and proceed to charge the order. On my way out something in my gut told me to check my bank app and to my surprise she not only took the $20 bill but also charged the full amount on my card. I assumed it was just an innocent mistake but when I went back in to have it corrected, she made eye contact with me and quickly moved to act like she did not see me. Her face looked a little panicked and that’s when I realized this was NOT a mistake and she knew what she had done prior to me returning. I’m guessing she was hoping I wouldn’t notice and since I paid in cash there would be no way to know if I was being truthful once I left and let time pass. This is so ethically wrong and makes me so upset/hurt because she could’ve easily told me “no you can’t split the payment” instead she tried to steal from me. I didn’t even need to explain to her what was wrong and she quickly went to the register to return my $20 to me. I will not be back. More than good food, good...
Read moreI'm a regular customer, but unfortunately, I had an unacceptable experience today. Our server looked INTOXICATED and kept messing up our order. We asked for 2 cups of rice but she gave us 2 trash cans. I could go on and on about the plenty of small mistakes she made, but I won't. Accidents happen. What caught me by surprise is she messed up our order when I kindly told her that we didn't receive part of our order. She ignored us for 45 minutes until we asked her again. She said to ask the manager. When the manager asked, who's your server? The server started yelling from across the restaurant ran toward us and waved the receipt around while yelling. It wasn't the biggest problem and could've easily been resolved by giving us what we paid for. All in all the Asian manager just handed us a few dollars, without a receipt, without saying a word, and let us go. She wasn't apologetic. The seafood boil is delicious, but the customer service is horrid. The food's not worth the poor treatment. Just order pick up or ask not to get served by the Hispanic girl with cornrows. If this is how regular customers who are very polite and tip generously every time, are treated, I can't imagine how they treat other customers. Anyways be kind, even if others are not, even if...
