Di Scala Deli and Specialty Foods — Restaurant in Aston Township

Di Scala is a true gem and luxury for Aston, PA. I am just kicking myself in the head that I only discovered it the last week of my teaching contract. The Deli is immaculate! I mean it is spotless and you could eat off of the floor!! It is so much more than a Deli too. They have a selection of Italian groceries and staple items like pasta, sauces, cheeses and even to my surprise, frozen Romano's Stromboli's to take and bake at home. In house prepared soups and entrees are also ready to grab and go as well!

The staff was friendly and could not have been nicer. I ran into a battery problem with my car in the parking lot and the owner asked if I needed help while I waited for AAA. Nice people, amazing customer service....now for the food!

I got the Old World Italian and it was a spectacular sandwich. Thinly shaved ribbons of Prosciutto, piled onto Sopressata (a fave of mine) and of course the base Capocollo. Sharp provolone and house roasted red peppers create what is a truly authentic and marvelous Italian Hoagie. A very Special Hoagie indeed. I also got their Pasta Salad. The pasta was firm and not chewy or mushy. Perfect vegetables like black olive, red pepper accompanying smaller cheese cubes, of what I assume to be mozzarella, were tossed in the right oil and vinaigrette mixture along with oregano and I believe basil. I got a quarter of a pound and was regretting I didn't get a half after my first fork full.

Di Scala Deli is a 5 Star and a gem! I sincerely wish this place would replace my got to in Eastern Montgomery County. I will be back Di Scala. You are definitely worth the 40...

I really wanted a hoagie for the Superbowl and placed an order last minute. The mom and son duo were awesome and gave me a hoagie, pasta salad, and tomato pie on them for being the last customer! Everything was so fresh. The pasta salad was out of this world. I never had a tomato pie and now I will be ordering more of them. I will definitely be coming in again soon and I gave out your brochures to my boyfriends family at the Superbowl...

Almost an old fashioned cold cut "mom & pop" shop. I LOVE it! They even have a pickle 🥒 barrel. They offer fresh sliced cold cut meats and cheeses, cold drinks and refrigerated foods (including Pellman's cakes!) They have bread and rolls brought in fresh daily. They also make an incredible assortment of sandwiches. The only things missing was sawdust on the floor and the counter butcher yelling "something ELSE?". ...
