Was looking to treat myself for breakfast. Since I wanted to do some shopping in the Aston area, I decided to give this place a try. (First thing to note, GPS directions were incorrect! Kept telling me to turn left at intersection, but it's actually on the right) Once inside, I was seated right away. Counter was empty seating. I ordered bacon, scrambled eggs, grits, toast and coffee. Coffee was drinkable. (Would give it another try before saying I don't like it) toast was prepared perfectly and they put butter on it for you. Eggs and bacon were great and you get 4pcs. Grits were another story. They were too runny. Restaurants need to know if you are going to sell grits please take the time to properly prepare them or remove it from your menu altogether. Nothing worse than grits being cooked inconsistently. A customer next to me ordered hash brown potatoes and they were burnt on the outside and not cooked in inside. He asked for another serving and when it was brought back out, there was no difference. Waitress said, "I guess they are just not going to properly cook these no matter what." Atmosphere was friendly and not loud. I would definitely go again as they serve more than breakfast items. Perhaps breakfast food may not be their strong suit OR the cooks were just having an off day. I would also like to mention my waitress Stacey(Stacy) was a gem. Very friendly and...
Read moreI got the Infinite cheesesteak. It came with a bowl of soup, chips or french fries, coleslaw and the pickle. I paid the extra dollar and upgraded my french fries to onion rings. $2 endless cup of unsweetened iced tea. $12 well balanced big complete meal. I'm on a diet so I did not get the Strawberry Shortcake that looked amazing. The cheesesteak by itself, Mesa Mesa. It looked like an Infinite Diner made roll. It was a good roll but maybe too crusty for this cheesesteak. The meat was okay but the amount of meat was the weak link of this cheesesteak. It comes with fried onions, green peppers and mushrooms. The green peppers dominated. The cheese appeared to have been put on top of meat while it was on the grill and then flipped into the roll. My plate had some grease on it but I don't know if that was from the onion rings or the cheesesteak. The woman that waited on me was wonderful. I’ll be back to the Infinite Diner to get breakfast. If you are with me you can get the...
Read moreWhen this lousy diner closed down, it was a relief. Several months later, this diner reopened as "Infinity diner", under new ownership. They're only open for Breakfast and lunch. Now, I always give the benefit of the doubt and tried the diner again...for breakfast. Wow...what a difference! The new ownership knows what they're doing! They've got a diversified menu which includes a breakfast "sample" of eggs, delicious sausage, crisp bacon plus two (2) pancakes OR two (2) french toasts (or one pancake and one french toast. You honestly can't leave hungry! The waite staff is friendly and attentive and the food comes fast. I've now eaten breakfast there 3 times and it's consistently awesome! I highly recommend The Infinity Diner. I've only had breakfast there, so I can't review lunch but I'm confident it is equally as good. Congratulations to the new owners and staff. Absolute compliments to the chef/cook! I'll...
