Unprofessional customer service.
I don’t even care if the sandwich is good or bad, I’m writing this review from my car because of the terrible customer service I received. I’ve never felt so disrespected at a restaurant and my blood is still boiling.
Let me start by saying I ordered a $24 sandwich “The Schwarber” on a garlic seeded roll online for pickup. Yes, a $24, 12 inch sandwich.
I walk in and the girl at the counter greets the couple in front of me, asks for their name and says it will be up shortly. I’m standing behind them - nothing. They go and sit down and a girl comes in after me and the girl at the counter asks for her name and tells her the same thing that it will be out shortly. I still haven’t been greeted or asked for my name.
15 minutes go by with no greeting and people are lining up behind me. The other people have gotten their food with a “sorry for the wait” and left by now. She calls my name for a sandwich that’s been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes. I say this is for me? She says it’s for Dylan and I said I’ve been standing there for 15 minutes and she claims “she didn’t see me”. I’m a 6’5 man with a beard you cannot miss me and I’ve been watching her work since I got there - there is a clear line of sight not even 5 feet away from her at the counter it’s not a big place and I was the only one standing at the counter for 15 minutes.
She then gives ME attitude that I didn’t tell her my name when I came in.
So which one is it: did you not see me, or did you see me and ignore me unless I state my business as if I am at your restaurant for something other than food? How hard is a simple “here for pickup?” like 100% of restaurants do? I would even settle for no greeting and “order ready for __” so I don’t have to bother you.
The bald guy on the grill has his back to me and can sense the tension and waves me away saying “have a good day” passive aggressively wanting me to leave. I ask the customer that’s been sitting there right behind me waiting since I got there if he saw me and he nods with a smirk of disbelief. I ask the guy on the grill if he saw me and he finally confesses he saw me when I came in. I say you might need some more help in the front with the customers and the girl retorts “the help is fine”. The counter girl is still talking back giving me sass til the moment I left.
The customer is not always right at this establishment. I don’t know what I did to offend these people to deserve this treatment. Not sure if the guy on the grill is the manager but whoever it is should be embarrassed. I don’t care if the girl was new or overwhelmed or just doesn’t like men or something but that is not how you treat customers. I don’t care how good the food is - I will...

I ordered around 430 to try to beat the dinner rush since I understand it's the day before a holiday. My food was delivered quickly and even earlier than anticipated. I called specifically to ask for jalapenos to not be included since people who were eating cannot have them. They were very accommodating about this too.
When ordering from new places, we take the tactic of ordering multiple menu items and sharing them so we get a little bit broader taste for the menu. We spent $49 specifically on the food.
Onion rings were fantastic! There was a decent amount and they weren't cooked so hard that they were burnt.
Mozzarella sticks appeared undercooked. I know from having food delivered that these things tend to cool, however, when opening them - the batter covering the mozzarella did not appear fully cooked and the mozzarella still had air bubbles in it like it hadn't been melted. We got one order and were given four mozzarella sticks for $7. Even if cooked longer this price is high.
The Big Memphis.. now I understand that jalapeno is supposed to be included on this and we specifically asked for it to be excluded, however - the issues with this sandwich were much more than that. The macaroni and cheese on the sandwich was dry. It had the look of having sat in the pot warming for too long. The brisket was tender and the onion rings were again great. The sandwich overall lacked flavor. The macaroni and cheese being dry failed to give and the only flavor that stood out was a little bit of barbecue sauce. There did not appear to be seasonings of any kind on this including. Overall it was bland at best.
The Amarillo Smokehouse Pizza.. We got this in a large as it was multiple people sharing. The size was smaller than we thought it would be, being a $23 pizza. Although, it is a specialty pizza. Again we asked for no jalapenos and this was accommodated. As with the sandwich this largely lacked flavor. The crust was chewy, gritty, and very dry. Sauce was drizzled very sparingly, which is sad because it's the only thing that had flavor again.
Overall we didn't get far into this meal before giving up on eating it entirely. We understand that there was a lack of anticipated flavor due to not having jalapenos, however, if that is the only thing giving flavor - this place cannot deliver.
We understand that it's the day before a holiday. We understand that we asked for no jalapenos. Both of those things were taken into account - the price was not worth the quality at all. For the food itself - we paid $49. Added to that were taxes, fees, and a delivery charge. That part is on us. This was...
Read moreFirst timers here. We did not have a paper menu so we went to their webpage and ordered based off that. It was a bummer because almost any place we call will let us substitute a wrap instead of a roll but they just replied no to the request. Not sure how other places are able to accommodate but that's fine it's their place and their rules. So we ordered The Gritty and The DeNiro. I specifically asked the girl what kind of roll they came on. So the subject of rolls came up and at that time it would have been nice to be advised that they are going to charge us $1.50 extra for the seeded roll. When I picked up the sandwiches I was told my total is $30.52. The Wolf's website states that each sandwich is $12 a piece. So I asked the girl for a receipt. They charged us $14.50 for The De Niro and $13 for The Gritty and 0.50 for pickled onions (we asked for no onions) and a convience fee. I asked the girl about the difference in prices. It literally takes minutes to update your webpage. So I couldn't understand why there was almost a $5 difference. I can understand paper menus not being up to date but no excuse for your own webpage. She said the convenience fee is when you pay with a credit card and of course I'm looking at her like I just paid you 40 seconds ago with cash? So why are you still charging me for that? I guess there's no cost of doing business anymore. Then she started blaming everything on a computer upgrade which apparently was over a month ago. So I guess they are going to ride that excuse for as long as they can. The goofy part was I had to ask them for my money back. They weren't even going to do anything at first. They actually had to call their boss/dad to see if they could refund me the convience fee, onions and seeded roll upcharge. That really should have just been automatic and common sense. He gave them permission to refund me the convenience fee and onions. That was mighty big of him. He said he is not giving me back the $1.50 fee for the roll. He should really make people aware of that before charging them. I think most people find it annoying when a place of business do not honor advertised pricing. On the positive side... It was a Friday night so I was expecting it to be busy...they said my order would be ready in 15 minutes. It was ready for me when I came to pick it up. Pung had The De Niro and said it was okay. The chicken was good but he doesn't know if maybe they did not add the balsamic because it was dry. I had The Gritty and it was the way I ordered (no ketchup and no onions) and...
