My friends and I had a very uncomfortable experience here. The owner seemed quite inconvenienced by us coming in. We didn't even realize he worked there at first, we thought he was a customer as he was sitting in a chair, scrolling on his phone for a bit before getting up to turn on music and greet us. He spoke with angry/sarcastic/short responses to normal questions. One small example- My friend asked where the bathroom was, accidentally passed it, and he just angrily yelled across the bar "door! door! door! door!" over and over, rather than pointing to the bathroom or giving any other verbal direction. We all played it off but it was so weird, as were most of the verbal interactions. The bar itself is very cute, the drinks were average, and it's clear he has a passion for spirits and mixology. With just those things in mind, I would have come back. Unfortunately, the energy, presence and conversation of the owner was so uncomfortable I would never recommend or return here. He is also a talented mixologist and Delilah showcases his skills and passion for the craft of the bar. He offers a full range of impressively unique house cocktails, and I recommend you try a Mule made from ‘Quick Ginger’ Ginger Ale on draught (Brewtonicals, Seaside Or) or a pour of Pearl Nama Sake (sakeOne, Forest Grove) This is the only place that you will be able to get this fresh and unpasteurized, never bottled sake. It is unique with delicate and delicious notes lost in bottled sakes, due to...

Between the comfort of the chairs, the beautiful decor, the delicious drinks, and the taste of the incredible food, you find yourself flabbergasted to describe it all. It's a very comfortable place to visit. Great service from Sean, both in the kitchen and behind the bar, and regular table visits from the ever sweet Luna. It's somewhere you could bring your in-laws for a drink and a small bite and they wouldn't complain at all.
If you only have a small amount of time in Astoria, I would recommend spending a bit of that time here and getting one of the...
