Astoria was our last stop on our day trip and we were looking for some yummy food before heading home. We decided on Mac'D & more. Upon entering the small restaurant there was no one behind the counter, but the owner quickly came out and said to look things over and ring the bell when we were ready. We opted to build a Mac n cheese as well as getting a pizza. My husband's favorite Butter beer soda was a option and he grabbed a couple of those. We grabbed a sliced of cheesecake and ordered a mushroom and roasted brussel sprouts and house garlic sauce Mac n cheese and a specialty pizza of mozzarella basil and tomato and added pepperoni to it for some protein. The Mac n cheese was delicious, the combination was not a good one (hey all the chosen ingredients are wonderful just not mixed together and that combo is on me...lol) The pizza though was OUT of this WORLD delicious. While we waited for the pizza to finish the owner came out and ask how things were and we told him it the Mac was good and my husband spoke to him further and asked about his pizza sauce. He brought us out the sauce to try it and it was amazing!!!! He said you wait until you try the pizza and he did NOT disappoint. This will be our go to place when we come out to Astoria. If I could give you a million star review I would!

Eating vegan in the Oregon Northern coast, first food stop.... Mac’d & more in Astoria, OR. This was our first vegan meal of our Oregon Northern coast trip and whoa, was it ever a doozy!!! My wife read about Mac’d & more on HappyCow so we decided to give them a try. They only have one vegan option, a cashew based mac'n'cheese ... and this one item is soooo worth the trip! The dish was very hearty, will easily feed two, very creamy texture with a cheesy/nutty flavor. In addition to the great flavor already baked in (pun fully intended lol), they have many additional toppings you can add at $.75 per topping or $5 for unlimited toppings, such as broccoli, sun dried tomato, mushrooms and .. lots more to choose from. We were told they're thinking to add a vegan cheese option to have a vegan pizza. Honestly, they could just bake the same mac'n'cheese right into a pizza and that would be amazing!! That said, I hope they offer that and a vegan cheese pizza option going forward!

Wow...it took me way too long to try this place. But I guarantee it won't be long before I'm back!!! Owner Randy is an absolute pleasure to talk to. He obviously takes pride in his mac craftsmanship & his role as a small business owner. It shows from the 1st bite and his theory on tipping. (Not allowed, because he prefers to pay his employees well & not have them have to beg customers for more money. Everyone is equal in Randy's eyes. And it truly felt like everyone mattered while we stood there chatting as my fresh gf pasta cooked.) The portions are gigantic (I literally weighed mine when I got home & it registered at 5lbs! 🤯), but I should've known when Randy said, "I made you enough for dinner tonight & lunch tomorrow." There are gluten free & dairy free options for the pasta & sauces, with a bazillion options for add ons. Thank you, Randy. You're truly a great addition to our community. Can't wait to try the pizza! 💕

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mac'd in Astoria, Oregon, a macaroni and cheese restaurant. Overall, I had a positive experience with the food and service, but I did notice a slight issue with the smell inside the restaurant.

Let's start with the positives. The food at Mac'd is truly delicious and deserving of a 4.5 out of 5 rating. The macaroni and cheese dishes are flavorful, well-seasoned, and made with high-quality ingredients. The variety of toppings and mix-ins available allow for endless customization and cater to different preferences.

Similarly, the service at Mac'd was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They provided prompt service, ensuring that I had everything I needed throughout my meal. I would also rate the service a 4.5 out of 5.

However, I did notice a slight funk in the air while dining at Mac'd. Although it didn't significantly impact my overall experience, it's worth mentioning. It would be great if the restaurant could address this issue to ensure a more pleasant dining environment.

In conclusion, Mac'd in Astoria, Oregon, offers delicious macaroni and cheese dishes with excellent service. Despite the slight odor issue, I would still recommend giving it a try if you're in the area and craving some comforting...

MacD: a little hole in the wall, make-your-own Macaroni and Pizza sit-down.

I came in with my family (four of us in total) and had a very pleasant experience ordering and sorting out what we would like to eat. There were many different options and add-ons, which definitely was a fun mix n match. There was only one person working the entire place unfortunately, so the food took almost 40 minutes to get out to us, but the person was very nice and absolutely a pleasure to meet. We ordered two Mac Bowls and two Pizzas.

I Recommend getting the chicken bbg Mac if you like bbq pulled pork Mac, and I recommend the chicken strip Mac if you just want something simple but also a little different than regular stuff you make at home or from a box. The sauce is phenomenal all around. They serve cakes, cheesecakes, and cookies as well!

I do have to say the space is small, and echoes. So if you bring kids that don't understand what it means to talk and not scream, it is excruciatingly painful for the others' ears (age appropriate, don't recommend kids below 3yo).

Can roughly seat 10-11 people in the space. Don't believe pets are allowed (I...
