Carl's Jr. — Restaurant in Atascadero

Carl's Jr's are Great Burger stops. And Atascadero's Carl's Jr's off 41 @ El Camino in the William Brothers Center is one of the Best in the Tri Counties! We, my two older brothers were looking for a quick bite after seeing our Mother who was in Palliative care near by at Danish Care, so with time an issue we stopped in Carl's Jrs a Salad Beyond Burgers the new Super Burger fries, comfort food. Catch up conversation, prep for next few days. And the help was marvelous. I had goofed the order for one of my brothers, the manager she heard our conversation while delivering our original order. And without batting an eyelash she got the correct order that I had fouled up and brought out new burger for my brother that was happy to eat the fries!! She refused to take payment. "You've come from Arizona to see your mother who is passing"! Not only did the manager extend the courtesy long forgotten, the food was fresh, hot, the lettuce was crisp it was served with a smile. And there was a camaraderie with the crew that worked like I haven't seen in decades! It was a very pleasant experience on a rough morning. Which made seeing my brother's off a lot easier to handle. You might pay more for a burger at Carl's Jr but...

I won't be returning to the Atascadero location. I love Carl's Jr, but not the Atascadero one, they need to train their employees better. I've been 5 times in the last 2 months, my order is never right. The Super Star comes with 2 patties, for some reason they only put one Pattie. I ordered the classic California double cheese burger, again they only gave me one Pattie. Double Western bacon cheeseburger, again they put one Pattie. Nailed it with that plant based burger, at one point I forgot I ordered it and was like this burger is better then usual. I hope they keep it on the menu. And perhaps start selling them at grocery stores. Service was good also, the server was new but she asked for help and promptly got it. Polite and to the point.
