OMG went for lunch and ordered spaghetti and meatballs from lunch menu only to find when it arrived that it was a previously cooked and frozen meatballs. Wow! are yawl really that lazy you cannot make fresh meatballs from scratch daily, it is very easy to do not that difficult. I asked the waitress how much an extra meatball would cost as an add-on when first ordering and she told me $2.99. Formerly a professional chef with many years on Italian grill... now retired, those meatballs was totally disgusting because when I received my order it was spongy flavorless processed meat that you would get from the frozen section of any low-class supermarket. I almost barfed, just gross. I also asked for a Caesar Salad and was told they no longer carry that type of salad, I guess the food cost is more than they want to spend. What kind of Italian restaurant doesn't have an Italian American created Caesar salad on the menu. So, they brought me out a huge bowl of mixed salad instead. This salad was so overdressed with ranch dressing like they know how much dressing I prefer on my salad; they should have sent the dressing on the side. While eating the salad I noticed a whole pepperoncino in the mix, and they were too lazy to cut off the long stem before putting it in the mix. Opaque tomatoes not that fresh, I do not believe their food standards are very high at this restaurant. The soup and breadsticks were good even though again they were too lazy to peel the potatoes before putting them in the soup. I also ordered grilled chicken alfredo. It was cold and the chicken did not even taste freshly grilled, it was almost like it was leftover chicken from the night before and someone threw it on the flat top to warm it up. The alfredo cream sauce came to me broken because it was improperly prepared or maybe leftover from the night before also. I cannot believe yawl can even call yourself an Italian restaurant. When I spend $50 for lunch, I expect my food to be fresh and hot and not yesterday's garbage. Someone needs to show these guys how to cook fresh real Italian food if they want to charge those type of prices. The marinara that came with the spaghetti and meatballs was mediocre and definitely was not made fresh, tasted more like can or plastic bagged. The waitress then asked if I would like freshly grated parmesan on basically everything I ordered, I said sure and after tasting it only to find out it was some cheap parmesan cheese that tasted bland with no rich flavor like it should. They should try spending a few dollars more and getting a Belgioioso American Grana, it might actually add some flavor to the previously processed frozen food they serve. Now I see why there is so many Olive Gardens everywhere, they are charging everyone high prices as if they are making fresh real Italian food but sending out cheap previously processed garbage. They are totally robbing the public and if people knew better by tasting fresh real Italian food, they would not go to any Olive Gardens ever again. I see why they want to push the liquor on you before you order, because you will need to be a little blitzed before you eat that food. Now every time I drive by an Olive Garden, I will be getting the...
Read moreI placed an online order on April 9,2020 at 8:39pm. Upon completing the order I received a confirmation email with my pick up date and time of April 10, 2020 at 9pm. I then called the local store to correct the date and time for today. I was advised "orders after 8:30pm would be prepared for the following day". I then asked if there could or would be an exception as this was not communicated prior to placing the order and my response was met by a strong "No thats the guidelines". I was then told I can speak with the manager but was placed on an extensive hold. After holding for exactly 8 minutes, I disconnected the call and redialed the store only to be placed on yet another hold. I was about 7 minutes from the store location and proceeded as I was unclear on whether or not my food would in fact be ready for pick up. I was greeted at the door by an associate since the dining area is closed and they are not allowing customers inside. I asked to speak with the manager and explained to him the confusion of the online ordering and how the associate who answered the phone was rude and unprofessional. The manager on duty at the time, Andrew stated the associate did not know the order could be changed and then began to go back and forth with me because I stated whether he knew it or not there is still a way to communicate in a professional manner. Beyond that, I asked for the general managers name and information and Andrew then tells me I need to wait in my car away from the door because of the social distancing guidelines. I exclaimed I am more than 6 feet away from the door and did not want to wait in my car. I was just fine standing outside. Again, he wants to go back and forth with a customer for no reason at all. I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and courtesy. I advised he could just cancel the order as I no longer wanted to eat at that establishment and was afraid something would be...
