RUN DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I saw a review about bed bugs and I didn't believe it because there wasn't a story. However, I was sitting on the couch in rm 404 and started itching. I have three bumps upside my torsel. I didn't see anything. I called downstairs and the young lady said there was no manager on duty. That ended our stay however the entire 4-day stay was an incredibly disappointing experience.

Although the staff were generally professional, the level of service and accommodations left much to be desired.

Housekeeping was horrible. They did not clean the shower, vacuum, or even wipe down the surfaces during their one visit to our room. It felt like you had to play games with lights just to get amenities to work. The staff themselves communicated frustration with this situation.

On my last day, I requested an extension to check out my stay. Despite having booked for 4 days, I was informed that an influx of customers was projected and there would be NO extensions to check out. This was extremely inconvenient and frustrating as our flight was canceled due to a hurricane. This request was before the couch experience. My review is in no way retaliation. I have 100s of reviews.

Overall, this was the worst hotel stay I've ever experienced in any country.

As silver members, we didn't receive the normal appreciation bag. There was no comp water in the room.

The shower in our room was poorly designed, being only half covered, which resulted in water flooding the bathroom floor every time we took a shower.

On our second day, the Redemption Plaza hosted a celebration that greatly inconvenienced us. The visitors for this event occupied all the outdoor seating of the hotel. To make matters worse, we couldn't even enjoy taking pictures of the beautiful sunset. We had to pay for parking and were told we needed to leave the parking lot, which was quite frustrating as it cut into our already limited time at the hotel.

The lack of staff presence at the front desk was also noticeable. Every time we walked by, there was no one available to assist us.

Overall, our stay was marked by inconveniencewere a lack of service. We were not able to enjoy our time at the hotel, and I would not recommend this Marriott location based on...

3/1/2025 to 3/2/2025 Location good. Room clean and nice, Room 335. Hotel lobby area nice and clean. Bar and Starbucks attendant very nice. Checkin person nice. We are American Express Marriott Bonvoy cardholders. Preplanned, as suppose to, through 800 number with plans and card payment. However that didn’t work out. Wrong card charged. Then the door lock battery was inop and kept clicking loud throughout the night keeping me up ALL night with a 6 hour drive ahead in the morning. Told staff member. Seemed unconcerned. Couldn’t access door to get back in so one of us had to stay in the room to let the other in. For shower my sister had hot water but when I took shower, I did not have the same luxury. In the morning when we were leaving for the long tired drive we realized we left a very expensive item in a drawer. But we couldn’t access the door to get it. No maintaince person in the building. A staff member was called but was at church. He tried to text the other staff member on how to use a gray box to open the door lock but to no avail. We had to wait an hour and a half just for the staff to come from church. No concern from the checkout staff member or keeping us updated. My sister sat at the hotel room door waiting THE WHOLE TIME. When the maintenance staff came he had a black box and opened it right away 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️?? Major safety concern!! If there were a child left in there we would’ve been doomed as I could only imagine a child with access to a balcony climbing over to doom. Or what if someone had a medical emergency?? Why aren’t other staff members trained on that equipment to access an inop lock on a door???? I wanted a call back from the general manager. The checkout staff member supposedly left message for the general manager but no call Monday. I left message Wednesday and still zero call. On top of all that there were about 8 to 10 football adolescents running rampant, throwing rocks from the flower beds and someone called cops, so we weren’t the only ones disturbed. Not a quiet and relaxing stay! Hence...

The Courtyard by Marriott Houston Northeast is a well-maintained, modern hotel conveniently located in the Generation Park area of Houston. This location offers easy access to nearby dining options, shops, and attractions such as Lake Houston, Sheldon Lake State Park, and Houston Motorsports Park. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, the property delivers a balanced mix of comfort and convenience.

The hotel features 144 individually furnished rooms, each equipped with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and coffee/tea makers. The décor is clean, contemporary, and inviting, making the rooms feel comfortable for both short and extended stays. Public areas, including the lobby, hallways, and fitness center, are kept impressively clean, which guests frequently note in reviews.

Amenities include a seasonal outdoor pool, perfect for cooling off during Houston’s warmer months, as well as a fitness center and a business center for travelers who need to stay productive. Dining options are available at the hotel’s on-site bistro bar, which also serves a cooked-to-order breakfast for an additional charge.

Parking is available on-site for $12 per day—a reasonable rate considering the area’s convenience and the ease of access to the hotel. While pets aren’t permitted, service animals are welcomed, and the property offers accessible features to accommodate all guests.

The staff earns consistent praise for their professionalism and helpfulness, adding a welcoming touch that makes the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Houston Northeast provides a clean, comfortable environment with a prime location, quality amenities, and attentive service—making it a solid choice for travelers seeking both value and convenience in the...
