Nowhere Bar — Restaurant in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

I went there to see and hear Perry D'Andrea sing Sinatra, and enjoyed the other attendees as well. Bartender got creative; loved the concoction she dreamed up for me. The place has barstools and booths, intimate lighting, and a separate area for folks to play pool, all of which allow a good view of the stage. There are special engagements on a wall calendar, and the regular show is on the last Thursday of every month. The name says it all. It's a dive, but it's kind of like "the" dive in the downtown area. Bartenders were pretty cool, but the people...there really isn't a way to describe the people. Just go see for yourself. They recently updated the bathrooms to make them bearable again, and the booths are almost always empty. This is an excellent "dive" bar to drink and chill with your friends. At the time that we went it was not crowded (due to school being out of session) and we had a very nice bartender. She was awesome. I can not remember her name though...? Anyways, my only qualms about this place was their beer selection and that they had nothing on tap. Otherwise, great...
