Sr. Sol 2 Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

This place was absolutely horrible! I traveled to Athens for the game on 09.29.2018 and decided I wanted Mexican food and stopped here.The service was horrible. The waitress we had was horrible,. I felt rushed every time she came to the table asking things. I gave up on eating as many times as she came over there. When she came to hand me the check, it was incorrect and she didn't come back, and I stood there waiting for her. Finally she came back I mentioned it to her and she had her manager adjust it. Then I asked where I pay after 20 minutes she finally told me she will take it and bring it back to me, then another 10 minutes she finally comes back from ringing me up. They do not pay attention to who is coming in and out of the doors from the kitchen and one guy dropped a full tray of drinks on the floor and part of it went on a guy standing there. There was another guy arguing up front with another manager about things. The women's restroom had no paper-towels in it at all. They did not try the floor properly after the spill so it was slick and even waiters were slipping some. I got the fajitas (the mixed ones) and they were DISGUSTING. The pork that was in them tasted like old pork. It had a nasty taste to it and I tossed it all away and only ate a few pieces of other things when I got home. Their lemonade they say is Minute Maid, but it as well is DISGUSTING. I feel they may need to clean their drink machine. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Me and my family had a horrible experience at this restaurant. The waiters are rude and clueless and the "managers" are even worse. We waited for about 30 minutes for our food. People who arrived 15-20 minutes after us received their food before us. We asked the waiter and he told us our food should be out soon and that there was an issue with the cook. We waited another 15 minutes or so and asked another worker again. We had a hungry 10 year old and a fussy infant we were all starving and completely done. He told my wife that he would ask someone and as soon as she turned around he gestured an " don't care hand" he wasn't concerned at all and didn't care he didn't even try to speak to us. Another woman came up to us and asked us the issue with an attitude after we asked for the check and said " do you want the food or not" she was very rude. We payed for the one meal they gave my son which was being generous considering the service. Never coming back here again and we were the only black family there so this felt targeted that other white families got their food before us after arriving 15-20...

The good news is that the food was delicious. Everything else... no. We were the first of the 4 tables there during our meal to be seated, the 3rd to order, and the last to get drinks (water, Coke) and chips. There were no other tables. Our waiter seemed to only have our 1 table, with the other 3 being serviced by 2 others who carried out sizzling fajitas, bar drinks, and more to the 4th table while we were still waiting on some very basic tacos. Then, our drinks, chips, and salsa ran empty about midway through the meal and stayed that way. And after we asked the hostess for the bill (not normal) the server finally came out with it and said "Sorry for it being slow, the kitchen is having some issues today" as if that were plausible. I've served before, and while this server proved solidly that he wasn't any good at his job (or at least that day, anyway) it's still a mystery to me why no one else stepped in to help - this was glaringly...
