Taco Bell — Restaurant in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

Man, I can't even begin to describe this experience. My husband and I have gone to this Taco Bell since it also has the KFC attached. We have better experience with the drive thru rather than sitting down. Unfortunately, we chose to go in since my sugar was a bit low.

Our first indication that things weren't going to go well was that the man at the counter said nothing to us as we walked up. Not a "hello", not a "what can I get for you", nothing. He simply stared at us. He seemed to be new, he had to ask how to ring things up, but also just seemed unenthused to be there.

Once we sat down, I noticed a woman who was sitting and waiting for her order. We also realized he had rung my husband's order up wrong, to a more expensive item, but my husband just decided he was hungry enough to eat it all. Fair enough.

A couple came in behind us and ordered a to-go order and got their food fairly quickly, then left. A few others came in, but left without ordering due to the cashier either wandering around in the back, playing with his hair, or just taking too long.

Fast forward thirty minutes. Yes, you read that right. We are contemplating leaving, but SURELY our food would be out soon. They call my husband's order. "Call" isn't the correct word as the man just brought the order to the counter and stared at us until my husband got up to get it. The woman is STILL waiting on her food. Mine is nowhere to be seen.

Another couple comes in and orders food to eat there. Finally I get up and ask where my food is. Apparently they hadn't even started making it in the back. The woman who has been waiting the entire time gets up and joins me. I ask her how long she has been waiting at this point and she tells me it's been 45 minutes. They hand her her food and it's wrong. The cashier rung her up for a higher priced combo than she got. She decides it isn't worth waiting any longer and leaves.

I finally get my food and the couple who ordered after us got theirs. I hear a commotion and look up to see that they have taken all of their food up to the counter and the woman is saying that it looks like someone took a bite out of one of the chicken tenders. I glance at my husband. That's what he ordered. He tells me that he thought the same thing but couldn't remember if he had just already torn a piece off.

They get their money back and leave and we leave shortly after. They are parked beside us in the parking lot and we meet them outside. The woman shows me pictures that they took and it definitely looks like someone just took a massive bite out of a tender and placed it in the box.

My husband and I haven't been back since and now prefer to go to two separate places rather than the one. While it is more inconvenient to drive more, it saves us the long wait time, risk of contamination in our...

My husband and I came here after working 12 hours shifts the past 3 days. And all I wanted was Taco Bell. The place was nice and clean, there were a couple customers in the lobby eating and a few in drive thru. Went to the kiosk to do our order, which I really don't mind, since I do special orders all the time, I can select all the items I don't want. I came across these Super Nachos for 6 bucks, I figured I'd try them, since I've liked the nachos bell grande in the past. I typically just get a couple soft taco supremes. So I ordered them and 1 soft taco supreme. My husband ordered a box combo. And it did take about 10 mins for our order, but we didn't mind, since we were winding down, and the 3 guys behind the counter were busy working. Not just standing around. So we get our food and I open my Nacho Box and it was like it was sentd down from Heaven......It was perfectly made!!!! Just the right amount of beans, meat, Nacho cheese, shredded cheese, red sauce which I added, sour & guacamole and diced tomatoes!!! If I was back there making my own nachos, it's exactly how I would of made it!!! 😋 🤤 ♥️ I had to take the time to ask who made them and compliment them, it was that good. Jahmez and his crew came to the counter and showed us so much appreciation of how happy we were with our first trip to this location. This is the worst place . Me and husband ordered 6T and a extra crunchy taco so we could share . Ok we got the food i saw one of my stake tacos had a black BLACK peace of lettuce i took it off and there was no more black lettuce . The stake was not that good . So i get to the crunchy tacos and the meet look so different it was like a orange muster weir color both of the crunchy tacos were that color. Never in my life i had tacos with that color meat. I look around under the table it was so dirty where you get your drinks it was dirty too. Anyway when i got the car my stomach stared to hurt I almost didn’t make it to the bathroom in the store that was closest to me my stomach hurt super bad is a day after and my stomach still hurts i been throwing up with lots of diarrhea and i feel like I’m gonna die of this stomach pain. Husband is sick too he miss work on Friday of how much his stomach hurts he been throwing up and diarrhea as well. If i can prevent someone from getting this sick i will b happy.
