Inn Between The Hedges — Hotel in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

We had booked this many months in advanced for parents weekend in order to visit with our daughter who is a student at UGA. We understood that it was a lower end hotel, but there wasn't much to choose from due to this being parents weekend. We decided to book. Upon entering the room at 9:00pm, we were completely mortified. The room smelled like we were lodging in an ash tray, there was a large piece of the wall covered in dry wall mud to evidently cover a large gaping hole. The headboard didn't even seem as if it was attached to the wall or bed as it was very crooked, a broken chair sat in the corner and the box springs were dirty and stained. We probably could have found more, but didn't stick around to find out. We took a few pictures and decided to cancel our breakfast plans with our daughter for the morning and drive back to Atlanta. Fortunately, we only had and hour and a half drive. This is definitely NOT a 2 star hotel. I wouldn't give it any stars and it truly needs...

I stayed there Monday and Tuesday , I have several videos of Bed bugs and Several roaches in the room... I only seen 2 bed bugs but the roaches were ridiculous and the owner just offered me “Roach spray” to fix the issue... they were literally in the bed , Inside the phone , I had to put towels down due to the fact I had killed SO MANY ROACHES ... it was something I’ve never experienced and it was like a nightmare... I had to call the health department Just to get my money back and they only gave me money back for One night stay , When the first day I stayed at the room I had bad vibes , Toilet ran none stop , Floors and room were naturally damp like a maintenance problems and I had bed bug bites to prove it and 4 Videos , It was absolutely clean but only to cover up the bugs and poor hospitality and had business! They are absolutely money hungry.. they told me it was no rooms left the first day so I had to stay in discomfort due to I payed ahead of time for...

My husband and I were here. Worst hotel possible. They gave us a room that didn't lock. My husband paid for the room up front for a week in full. Nick, the sorry little manager stole my husband's things out of our room. My husband is missing several watches. They go into your rooms as they wish and go thru your personal belongings. The maids don't clean ANYTHING if they can help it. They got roaches and bed bugs. I wouldn't go back to that place to save my life. The sheets don't fit the beds, there are burn holes in the sheets and stains on the towels. If I could get my hands around that Indians neck for stealing my husband's things. That's really the American way Nick! They are a rip off,i dont care if it's a college town or not! Inn town suits is extended stay on milledge ave and they are cleaner. They actually have food in their breakfast. They are cheaper on weekly rates and bed bug free. Save your money and go to inn town suites! 0 stars...
