Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe - Athens — Restaurant in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

Taziki's was one of my fave restaurants in Athens but I will not be going back after today. Had a curbside order to be picked up at 11. Checked in and after waiting almost 10 mins (and after calling twice with no answer) I finally went in. There was ONE person in the restaurant so I don't see them being busy as an excuse. Food still wasn't ready. Finally got my order and when I made it back to work I look at my food and see brown lettuce and undercooked potatoes and some of the potatoes are dark brown??? I called back. Got a yound lady on the phone who then put me on hold and put (I'm assuming) the manager on the phone. He starts to cut me off mid sentence as I'm telling him what's wrong, and he tells me to send pictures to their email so he can see for himself. I asked, "and then what?" "Well I hope you'd put your name and phone number in the email and then I'll respond". Feels passive aggressive and not customer service friendly. I just paid $30 for two meals. No I don't have time to come back for them to remake the order because I'm on a 30 minute lunch break. Won't...

My husband posted which is his way of allowing others to chose wisely if they have a particular craving for different foods. We paid with cash, no receipts printed she did ask though would have gotten it just for your records. it was 43.70 I received 56.30 in change. I paid with $100. We each ordered the baklava cheesecake. You have to be shocked it finally sold. I got a lamb gyro with chips because you had no fries, We also ordered 2 iced teas yet no ice was in the machine for us to use. The nice girl behind the counter in bluejeans with her belt on tight filled our cups. Now mind you We saw about 4 employees fill large trays for outgoing orders. They placed them on the table next to where we sat.( We were there from 2:20 to 2:49 I have life360 so I checked.) It was I just thought,I hope they seasoned them well because it is sitting out for aleast 20 minutes. Food was disappointing to say the least. I got the Chicken, Greek salad and roasted red potatoes. Chicken had no flavor at all. It seemed like it was boiled and put on a grill top. Salad was fresh but salad dressing tasted like bottled Olive Garden. Tajiki sauce had no flavor. The roasted red potatoes were just as plain as the rest of the meal. The Baklava Cheesecake was awful and should not be on the menu. The young lady that took our order was very nice which was a plus. My advise to this place is go to Mediterranean Grill in Athens and learn from them. They have great food that isn't store bought and tastes like Mediterranean food should taste. Authentic and delicious. My wife had the lamb gyro which in my belief was a cheap cut of beef with no seasonings. Did not taste anything like a lamb gyro should taste.
