Leah M. Was friendly but not very attentive to customers. I had several issues with my order, and Leah seemed to take her time correcting them. I ordered strawberry banana pancakes, 2 sausage links hash browns, and a bowl of cheddar grits with coffee and hot chocolate. My wife asked for extra napkins and ended up getting them herself after waiting 5 minutes. My food arrives but there is bacon not sausage on my plate which I point out to Leah who states that she will fix it, she then brings the grits with cheese and places it on the table, I understand that the grits are made from instant (Just add water) but after 25 minutes they never thickened up. They were cold and still runny. My wife had to ask Leah to bring some strawberry syrup for my strawberry banana pancakes. After eating what I could, I went to pay my check and had to wait for Leah to check me out. I inquired about the veterans discount, Leah said yes, it's 10%, she didn't give me the discount. As we were leaving we told the hostess why Leah didn't get a tip and I could hear Leah asking if she could help us with anything else and I told her no thanks we're leaving and we left. Hopefully someone will share this review with her so she will know what mistakes she made and what she needs to do to...
Read moreA group of 4 of us visited for breakfast around 8:45 on the 1st. Upon entering there were 3 employees standing around the counter, none of them acknowledged us. 2 walked away the 3rd was moving around and kept his back to us. Finally after 5 -6 minutes he just turned asked how many and took us to our table. We were the only customers waiting to be seated. Upon being seated we had to wait another almost 10 minutes for our waitress. I think she had just cclocked in. But no one asked if we needed water or coffee or anything else until she arrived. Fortunately she was a true professional. I wish I could remember her name. The restaurant was not very busy for a Saturday morning. The lack of customer service after being seated and the unmotivated greeter was detrimental to the overall visit. Our waitress, kinda tall blonde hair in a ponytail, was the bright spot. The...
Read moreHaven't been to an IHoP for a long time. I really liked all the menu choices, I had many things to choose from that I like in general. I really like that pancakes take a lead in being offered as side items for many dishes, I think that is really cool, and lets me have sweet to go with savory or spicy. The only reason I marked down for atmosphere is because another customer was somewhat loudly complaining about various things while there, and their tension in the room added to my tension. Not the fault of the restaurant, they handled it well. This reflected this particular visit only, and I only chose a 4 because this reflected on my experience. Now, if I could rate the customer, I could really give low marks, lol. Omelets were great (chicken fajita and spinach mushroom) in flavors, size, and temperature. I paid $1.59 extra for cupcake pancakes, I...
