Yummy House — Restaurant in Athens

I've been looking for great Chinese food in Athens since moving here from San Francisco three years ago. Today I found it. I usually judge a new place first by its Hot & Sour soup. Most places don't get the delicate balance quite right. This was perfect. The Orange Chicken was tender and flavorful, not just covered in sweet sauce. And both the Beef Fried Rice and House Special Fried Rice were delicious, not dry or overcooked as is often the case. I kept saying, "I can't believe how good this is." Good value on the Lo Mein. My War Su Gai had only broccoli with the chicken......seems every place in the Athens area with War Su Gai on the menu makes it differently but it's not the way I remember it from Columbus. Since my teens, every place in Columbus made War Su Gai as sliced crispy chicken breast on a bed of lettuce, sprinkled with almonds & served with fried rice & a yellow gravy! The dining room was closed, so we ate on a bench in the mall. The portions were very satisfactory. My Mongolian Chicken was full of chicken. I ordered the mild. If we were in the dining area, I would have added soy sauce. That would have made mine much more flavorful.
