I wish I could have given 0 stars! I have never been so irritated with a restaurant before. Our waiter was ok, possibly new? We ordered appetizers and our food. A family of 4 sat down in the booth beside us about 15 minutes after we ordered our food. Their food came and ours still hadn't arrived. Our waiter finally came to the table to tell us that he was going to check on our food to see what was taking so long. He came back about 10 minutes later to tell us there had been an issue with the order but that he worked it out and would see what he could do to get a percentage knocked off our bill. I told him that would be great and to just pack it to go. The manager, Amy, came to our table and said "I hear you have a problem with the bill!" First of all, they had taken 20% off the bill. Second, the bill wasn't the issue (yet). Third, at this point, the biggest issue was her attitude! I explained the issue, which she initially tried to blame on the waiter, then she said our meal was delayed due to them being busy, tho everyone around us that ordered after us had gotten their meal. The waiter came with our meals to go. When we got home, our steaks were way over cooked. They were burnt. My ribs were so burnt, I couldn't hardly eat them. Our bill was $100.00, tho we paid $80.00. Those meals and the dining experience was worth $20.00 maybe and thats because of the appetizers. Ordered a filet, medium, with loaded baked potato and ceasar salad.
First filet was delivered rare and burnt on the outside, they took it back to the kitchen from my plate, put it back on the grill, and brought it back even more burnt on the outside but closer to medium inside.
I'm cool with my steak being one shade either way, which is why I order medium. I know Gordon Ramsay isn't back there, and these guys are busy. But rare when you order medium and pay $25+ for a steak is just unacceptable.
They did bring me another loaded baked potato, which was nice of them. Waitress was very nice too.
Wasn't going to leave a review at all until feeling AWFUL the next morning, which I figured may just be from poor sleeping in a hotel.
Then after going to a very nice place the following morning for an omelet, I didn't even get one bite of, I ran to the bathroom and vomited.
This was my most recent meal prior to that, the rest was my regular diet at home and I almost never get sick, not even a common cold (over 2 years).
Was it the roaches? The food handling practices? The grime of old food and grease I found on my silverware before asking for a replacement?
I don't know, but it ruined half my day, my breakfast the following day, and I wouldn't chance...

She sent it back but when she received it we realized they just scraped the topping off. My sister has an allergy to mushrooms. Our server never returned until after the rest of the table had finished eating. She requested to speak to the manager. The manager arrived which was a man, he was told the issue and told my sister if she had an allergy she should have relayed that information. My sister stated that she did say no mushrooms and he reiterated that if itās a medical emergency she has to tell staff. Itās actually private health information and she did her due diligence ordering her food the way it was ordered, a further explanation is unnecessary. A sincere apology was all that was needed, an empathetic āare you ok?ā Not an argument of why the customer was wrong when the restaurant was the one that made the mistake. the meal eventually was compensated but not until 3 of us at the table had to tell the manager how wrong he was. Might I suggest further training on service recovery for this food...
