Ok so I been going here for a few months now and haven't really had anything to say about it till now. I noticed that they have an disabled employee who seems to be either autistic or has down syndrome. He is a sweet boy and I feel joy seeing him work because I have an autistic child myself. Well today that boy was in the lobby keeping to himself watching something he was really enjoying on his phone. He was in his own little world with not a care laughing and happy. I then noticed another much older man started to record him laughing. It was clear this older man was making fun of this Jack's employee who is disabled. I then seen another employee go to who I assume was a manager to inform him what was going on. I know this because the employee pointed out to the man recording him. I thought to myself oh thank goodness because that isn't right. Now you would think any decent person and a manager at that would have stopped it and protected that disabled employee. Unfortunately that manager did nothing. I'm not sure what what was said or why the manager didn't step in. Again I am a mother of an autistic child and if it was my child who is employed at Jack's I would expect them to prevent this type of thing from happening. Not wanting to make a scene myself and believe me I wanted to I figured I would write this post and see what the world would think of how this manager handled the situation. My only hope is Jack's takes better care of their disabled employees better then what I seen today. Shame on That manager for not having any decency to do what is right. I am just glad that poor boy didn't understand what was happening to him and I do hope his parents...
Read moreToday I had the worst service I’ve had yet. I went around 5:30 this afternoon after I got off work and definitely won’t be going back. I ordered a 4pc chicken finger snack got to the window and paid and they told me it would be a few minutes for the chicken fingers bc they had to cook which was fine. I mean who doesn’t want fresh chicken fingers? They ask me to pull up and wait so I did. FOR THIRTY MINUTES!! Ppl behind me kept getting their food and driving off so I went inside to see where my order was. When I get in there I saw two whole things of cooked chicken fingers so I guess I had been forgotten. There was an older couple in front of me waiting to order to dine in and the girl working the counter was walking like a sloth dragging her feet walking past them and taking her time to get to them. She finally asked them what they wanted and seemed incredibly annoyed that they were even there. The lady tells her the order and the girl behind the counter read it back and it was completely opposite of what the lady had just told her so the lady told her again. The girl behind the counter literally rolled her eyes then got an attitude that she had to fix the order. I stood there for 10 more minutes waiting and finally she came back to the counter and I told her I had been waiting outside for my order and wondered if it was ready the girl working the drive thru saw me and started making my order and i finally got it. The food was great but the service was absolutely terrible. If I could give 0 stars for the service I...
Read moreI arrived at the restaurant around 9:30 PM , a full 90 minutes before closing and attempted to order a four piece tender meal and a 12 piece tender. I was told they “didn’t have that amount,”. My daughter said “ aw man “. I stated “ they do have them baby they just don’t want to cook them because it’s close to closing”. When I got to the window, the lady took my card and then said “ and we don’t have 12 tenders, my manager said we’re no longer cooking food for the night.” For a restaurant that closes at 11 PM, this is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the employee at the window repeatedly interrupted my conversations while I was speaking to my children in the car, holding the window open to ease drop. It was unprofessional and completely unnecessary. If the store hours say you’re open until 11, customers should be able to place an order until that time or at the very least, be treated with respect. Poor service like this is disappointing, and honestly, unacceptable. The customer may not always be “right,” but they always deserve to be treated with courtesy and professionalism. When I passed back by from leaving Wendy’s, that same employee was outside sitting on the curb smoking. Do better. I’m sure the owners would not appreciate there restaurant is being shut down early so employees can leave...
