A Town Wings — Restaurant in Atlanta

Just came back from A-Town Wings, and I gotta be honest here. I'll start with the good, since it was short: The lady on the phone took my order fast, and even though I couldn't hear her that well (your establishment needs a clearer phone), she was polite. The lady who set my order up was also very polite. I've met either the owner, or the general manager, and they are also super nice.

Being nice can only get you so far, though. To walk through my experience, I placed my order at 4:02PM, according to my phone's dial records after calling in my order. I was told it would take 10 minutes, and I live 5 minutes away, so I waited and left, entered the building at 4:13, and left at 4:42. If that time table seems off, don't worry, it's not you. The service is painfully slow, and it truly took me 40 minutes to get my food. After getting my teriyaki wings, the fries that came with them are not done. Also, even though the package was closed, all of my sauce ended up on the outside, lodged in the bottom of my bag. It was like that by the time I got out the building and made my way back to my car. I looked down, and everything was a mess. They didn't have straws, either, and after the 40 minute wait, only packed in 1 blue cheese. Embarrassing!

There's a sign at the window that says there are no refunds. As a server of 10 years, and fast food before that, I see that sign as a symbol of disrespect. Refunds should be acceptable if you think 40 minute wait times, bad packaging, and lack of supplies is the proper way to run the business.

To sandwich something good in with the bad, for a place in my neighborhood, their corona virus precautionary procedures are actually excellent. The experience was overall shaky in terms of actually getting my food, but outside of this fat lady who couldn't figure out her mask in the time it took her to mistreat and belittle her kids, I doubt I'd get the...

Food tasted horrible! First off, they were the size of my pinky! I ordered hot wings and lemon pepper SMH. I thought being that they were called A town wings and were in the hood that they would be good but I was wrong. It tasted like white people food. No flavor at all whatsoever. It was way worse than wingstop. The reason I tried it cause I moved out here over 20 years ago and happened to be in the area and seen that they still were open so I tried it out for once. Even drink tasted disgusting I regret my choice even my people disliked it. Then they got their son there acting like he just hate black people and aggravated. My co-workers and I order 'take-out' from here regularly and the food is yummy and the young lady on the cash register is always pleasant. However, today I sent my order with a co-worker, which was a grilled fish salad. He returned with a grilled chicken salad. He and I called and the young lady said she must have misunderstood what he ordered for me. She asked me if I could eat the grilled chicken salad and I told her no, that I don't eat chicken. She asked me if I could bring it back and I told her no, I was on my way to a staff meeting. She explained that the only way I could get compensated for my meal was to bring back the incorrect meal, even if it was a week later. How ridiculous is that?!! She said the owner wants to make sure I didn't eat the meal that wasn't correct. Does she really expect me to put this salad in the refrigerator and leave it there until I decide to return to A Town Wings on Metropolitan Pkwy?! I won't be back.
