I recently had the pleasure of dining at Baba s Kitchen a Mediterranean gem tucked away in the heart of Atlanta. From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported to the shores of the Mediterranean, with its warm and inviting ambiance.
The menu is a true culinary journey through the Mediterranean region. I started with the Mezze Platter, a colorful assortment of hummus, baba ganoush, and tabbouleh, served with warm pita bread. Each bite was bursting with authentic flavors, and it was a great way to begin the meal.
For the main course, I couldn't resist trying their signature dish, the Mediterranean mix grill was a generous portion of perfectly cooked rice, loaded with a medley of fresh seafood, and a medley of aromatic herbs. The combination of textures and flavors was simply exquisite.
The service was impeccable. Onur the waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations.
And let's not forget dessert! I indulged in the Baklava, and it was the sweet ending I needed.
Overall, my experience at Baba s Kitchen was exceptional. The authenticity of the Mediterranean cuisine, the cozy atmosphere, and the attentive service made it a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. If you're a fan of Mediterranean flavors, don't miss out on this hidden gem!
Baba s Kitchen truly captures the essence of Mediterranean cuisine, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a...
Read moreMy wife and I were just at this establishment. She had received an email from Baba’s kitchen to visit in the month of January as she does Food Vloging. As soon as you enter the parking there are bunch of cars parked with no tags/temporary tags so parking was challenging. Once in the establishment there was no one to greet and we took our time. Saw a guy near the counter and then went back in. Once we were ready we walked up to order thinking that’s how it works waited 10 mins and no one ever stepped out and assisted and greeted us. Drove 30 miles to check it out but the basics are missing. I am starving and will choose to go elsewhere. I parked right outside the kitchen entrance in the back and while in there there were few individuals in the kitchen but we didn’t have anyone to even take our order forget the greeting or acknowledging as they saw us there from the start. I see great reviews and I don’t like to start this way maybe it’s me hungry and I cannot beg an establishment to serve me even when I am paying for my meal. Please don’t reach out on social media to food bloggers until you have a service good or bad...
Read moreLet me start with a positive… the food was good. Could use some tweaks but overall good. We got there and the parking lot was full, but when we went inside only 4 people there. We stood and waited to be seated… no sign to tell you to seat yourself. After the lady came up, she told us to seat anywhere. We started with drink order. Canned drinks or bottled water… no tea, no filtered water… really not the best! Food was good but was a little weird in why would you serve Dolmas with rice , when the inside is packed with rice?? Waitress only came by a few times to check on us… but she was the only waitress. Atmosphere… Dark… was suppose to be Mediterranean, which is usually bright and festive. Not here.. everyone dressed in black, black ceilings, brown walls… very night club is feeling. The music playing was rap music and R&B… not typical of this style food. Once we received the bill… we noticed a 20% service charge for everyone… only 4 people at our table. Then they requested a tip on top of service charge. Was very disappointed with the...
