I’d like to express my deep disappointment regarding a recent interaction I had with a staff member answering the phone at Backyard Grill. I called between 3:30 and 3:35 PM and was hung up on twice. At first, I gave the benefit of the doubt—assuming maybe the call dropped. But when I called back and asked if we got disconnected, the woman rudely responded with, “I have a line in front of me. What do you need?”
There’s no excuse for that kind of attitude. If this is the person representing your company on the front line, she’s doing more harm than good. Her lack of professionalism and blatant disrespect is exactly the kind of behavior that drives customers away. I didn’t fill out the application—she did. So it’s baffling that she chooses to be there and still treats people like they’re a bother.
I’ve always enjoyed the food, but unfortunately, due to this experience, I won’t be returning. Customer service matters—especially in an area where great service can set a business apart. Backyard Grill lost a loyal customer today because of one employee’s poor attitude.

Read moreI drove all the way to this establishment from South Cobb County after an appointment on my way home to Stone Mountain. I have driven from Stone Mountain before, however, I'm noticing the portion sizes are not up to par for the dollars spent. Today I ordered my regular rib tip dinner with baked beans ( too sweet) and what use to be "melt in your mouth" collards ( not today). After spending 20 plus dollars (young lady cashier hovering and watching intently to see if I place a tip, I felt pressured to do so, after all they control the food ordered) for this dinner. I'm STILL hungry. My decision is "NOT TO RETURN". I pray they do better and exit the "GREED!"

Good is AMAZING! But…
I ordered five lamb chop dinners and asked for the sauce that comes with them when I ordered.
When I retrieved my order, there was no sauce. I asked the young lady for the sauce and she only gave me two. I asked if that’s how many comes with 5 dinners. She said yes and then proceeded to forcibly hand me three additional sauces and closed the window as I was speaking.
A little kindness and professionalism goes a long way. I’ve been supporting this establishment since they were in the cvs parking lot by Greenbrier and this is the first time I’ve experienced such horrible customer service and just plain out rudeness.
