Let me first start by saying I have been to this establishment more than five times. So I was excited when I saw they was having a Cinco de Mayo event it was $63 and on their website which I will include it said unlimited tacos and complimentary tequila shots and margaritas entire time. I really think that overextended themselves. They had three brunch events today charges $63 each and by the time you put the tax and gratuity and it's roughly 80 to $90. So today alone they made between 35 and $40,000 That's not including the other drinks that people were buying. So with that being said I am very disappointed in the level of customer service overall. I specifically ask them a couple of days ago were they going to have vegan or vegetarian options. And they told me yes. I get there and they really are not prepared for that. So they brought me some guacamole some chips some mangoes. And then they brought me out three tacos using kale salad that they normally have on their Saturday events that was my vegan tacos. So in my opinion it shows me they wasn't prepared and that it was pretty much thrown together. Now let's talk about the timing we sat down about 6:35 we did not get our first shot of tequila until around 7:35. We only got one complimentary drink even though they said it was Unlimited that didn't come till around 8:30 when we started complaining to the owner of the level of service. The service destroyed the vibe that we could have had because it's always a Vibe with the DJ but today we was over it because we felt like we was not receiving the level of service that we received in the past. And to top it off the waitress they gave to us today was the first day and it was a lot of us in there. The best thing about what I had to eat was guacamole so needless to say I had to come home and eat because I was still hungry. And the drinks I had one but we had to buy or I shouldn't say we had to but we did buy pictures of margaritas and when you was buying drinks they was bringing it out faster than a complimentary drinks. So I pretty much spent $90 and so did my three friends that came with me so that was $360 for a horrible experience. They complained about the food they said the food was not good you have to know how to cook salmon. You cannot fry it too much because you will dry it out and they said it was dried out they brought us some chicken wings they said they were tasteless. The tacos they had corn tortilla shells which is horribly done you have to really know how to work with corn tortillas. There was no cheese for the taco sour cream lettuce tomatoes salsa. From my understanding not just from the ladies that I was with but also the ladies at the table surrounding me the complaint was the same. The caliber service was horrible the food horrible. And much as I love supporting black establishments and I do believe in giving rave reviews when something isn't right I also make sure that I mention it. And I did let the owner know that I was not satisfied and she tried to make it up but it was too late but I'm still flabbergasted as to I got three taco shells with some kale salad on it. They could have got a a black beans and made some black bean tacos it would have been cheaper. I'm just highly disappointed and I don't know if I would...

As you can see in the picture I have attached there was something floating in the water picture that they sat at our table. We didn't notice it till we were done drinking the lukewarm water but it was definitely there. Lastly, before they brought the entree out they asked us to move plates around the table so the meat tray can be placed in the middle of the table...we should be paid for this not them. Portion size for Crab and Kale salads are pictured.
Entrees - none of the below items were served to us HOT the chicken was warm but the other items were not very hot.
French Toast - pretty good but could have been cooked a bit longer. The inside seemed to be a bit mushy, but all in all it was okay.
Fried Chicken - good crisp to it but as another individual put in there review it wasn't seasoned before cooking. It tasted as if salt was added to the chicken afterwards...almost made it seem to be salty but it was kind of grainy salty like you could taste the salt more than the chicken.
Fish - absolutely horrible, I really believe that they microwaved it and served it because it was not fresh fish. The fish had a very fishy odor to it...it also was not seasoned. The portions were very small. I tried to open up a piece of fish to see the freshness and it was like some rubber it was chewy and not very good.
Potatoes - need to be cooked longer. They were almost crunchy. Very thick cut potatoes.
Bacon - if you mess this up...I don't know what to say.
Sausage - about the same as the bacon...it is going to be sausage.
Salmon - the was served to us very cold. It was decent...it was cooked pretty well so it wasn't tough...just wasn't very tasty.
Deviled eggs - watery and not very tasteful.
Sides and Fruit Grits - waterrrrryyy....
Greens - they were okay.
Fruit tray - that was just a slap in the face...2pcs of watermelon, grapes, 2 Orange slices, and 2 half strawberries.
Customer service How the food was served could have been better so that everyone was able to be tended to equally. Some parties that were on the front end of the business got to the servers before others. We were placed in the back and that isn't our fault but we suffered and really didn't get the experience that others may have gotten. Food was being served from front to back...no matter if they were coming back with the same items...so other guest were getting 2nds and 3rds when other were still waiting to be served. Plates were not being picked up by servers or runners...we were constantly stacking plates and trying to make space at our tables.
Sadly....we left here...hungry, hot, and disappointed. My daughter asked me about this place once I got home. We told her we weren't very happy with it. She then asked "were the eggs good" my wife and I looked at each other and said DANG...they didn't have...
Read moreThis is my 2nd visit to Garden Parc. My first visit was with a Group of ladies and we were celebrating our birthdays late. We had a phenomenal time. Food was coming back to back as well as the mimosas. Our Sever was phenomenal. Now this 2nd visit was definitely a different experience & didn't make any sense at all. We went on a Saturday which is apparently a different vibe. We celebrated a friend engagement and was telling her how this place is a vibe. We had a total of 8 ladies and we received one serving of food and a order of wings for $51 each. (Tapas portions btw) We only were asked about ordering drinks once and wasn't able to get water because that is only given on Sundays. There is a $3 charge for very pretty blue 12 oz or so bottle of water. It was warm, some of us were older and extremely hot so we were thirsty. The sever provided a water for 1 of us on her being that craft water was not available. The owner so happened to be there and came over to speak with our table. She smiled and explained this is all about drinks it's not like Sundays. We were told we would get more food & never did. Our reservation was at 7 which we were all there by 710 besides 1 person. We didn't get the 1st set of tapas until close to 8pm & the wings around 850ish. I went back and forth on doing this review due to not wanting tear a black establishment down. Especially one I had a good experience the 1st time, however I am not sure about most ppl, but my dollars are valuable and needed. I would donate it to someone who needs it 1st before being okay with that experience. When the owner advise that she is normally not there in Saturdays and left without ensuring we had proper service I was flabbergasted. She put that bag on her shoulders and was out. We watched all other servers and tables bringing food to bigger parties than ours and we are hunting ppl down and going to the bar to make orders and or find our server. Although the food is decent, the service was horrible and especially for it to be for my friend Engagement get together. Owners, managers, or ppl in charge...please listen to your consumers especially when they're not trying to be confrontational. When you see the service lacking, take care of your consumers. All it takes is 1 person to tell another to tell another person and Houston we have a problem. If Saturdays are built for cocktails only, allow your patriots to have a craft of water so they are not leaving tipsy because one doesn't want to pay $30 to be hydrated. We paid $50 plus dollars and still had to buy drinks at least make sure the part that people pay for is taken care of. Again, good vibes not going to say this is a bad place, but definitely did my friends and us bad and didn't even provide us apology thank you for coming or anything!!!...
