China Cafeteria — Restaurant in Atlanta

The lady who prepared the food was very unpleasant and unprofessional. She rushed us with our orders and act if though she was agitated when asked a question. With all that being said, it was only 12:00 and the food was watered down. I had the pepper steak which was drenched in a watered down sauce with absolutely no seasoning and the gummy overcooked rice; this was the most horrible dish ever. We deviated from the China Cafeteria we normally frequent and tried this one. Not because of convenience because we are located downtown and the other one is about the same distance. The spicy sauce was not flavorful and it too was watered down. When I called back to inform management, she told me 100 patrons had been through her store and she has not received a complaint. That's probably because they have not had a chance to taste this awful food or maybe they don't know good food anyway. Well I should have known not to try them anyway; my cue was when she told me via phone she could not prepare any rice without chicken being added and my other store does. They are not only delicious but they make concessions for their customer. I will not visit this place again nor will I refer anyone. Take heed to this review and try to improve your professionalism. I was given old food. The mandarin chicken tasted like it had been left in the warming pan overnight, and had become burnt and stuck to the pan. It tasted old and was super chewy. There were just bits and pieces of chicken, like someone had scrapped up bits of it, in an attempt to create a full meal. The braised wings were also old, so much so, that the wings had turned gray. It was obvious that someone tried to cover this fact by putting extra braised sauce on the wings. The inside of the egg roll was even gray, with withered old cabbage and had an odd smell. The entire meal seemed like it was put together from several meals that may have been half eaten or thrown away. I think because the order was placed during the open of business, that they gave me food that had been sitting out from the day before. Unfortunate for me; I had ordered this meal through postmates/ubereats, so I wasn't actually at the store to witness this disgraceful meal being set up. I wish people who just dont care, would keep their tired selves at home, and stop disgracing the public with their inability to do even the least moral thing. This place should...

This was my 1st time here. I had planned to treat my 3 nieces out to lunch at anothe placebut they were closes at 12 noon on a Friday!🤯🫢🤔🤔🤔 but all things work out for my gooooooood in the end! My niece said,"Aunty don't worry I know this really nice place right around the corner,me and my kids eat there regularly and you will love it," So we came here and to my surprise 🫢!! Oh wow!! This is the bomb!! It's family friendly, and come one come all on any occasion! The atmosphere is wonderful the food is awesome they even have a Habishi bar!!!! That's my favorite!! It also have several different All you can eat Buffet,and it's all one price $11.99 ,kids price I think, was $6.00 , just think we're can you find a better deal than this!! I highly recommend China Cafeteria in Morrow it's worth the drive! One of my niece drove from Lithonia to Morrow with her 3 yr old daughter! The waitress are nice they do check on you to refill you glass and to see if everything is good. It's a very clean place also.
