Fav coffee place in ATL!
If you're for a casual coffee/lunch place in ATL to hang out and chat, this is the place to visit! Located right off of beautiful paces ferry rd and inside the Atlanta History Center. Huge parking spot right in front of the AHC makes it even more convenient to come here, which I do, a lot!
Be mindful of their timings, they close at 5pm on weekdays!
It's a one and a half story ginormous coffee/hangout spot with huge floor-to-ceiling open windows to sit in a beautiful afternoon. I always come here to do my lab reports and homework that doesn't require it to be peace and quiet. JUST LOVE COMING HERE!
All of their coffee is from their own brewery and all flavors are made in-house. Don't expect some basic froo froo drink because it's NOT Starbucks! They also have milk alternatives for lactose intolerant patients (!) like moi, such as almond and even oatly oak milk!
This place is shared with Souped Jenny (not sure if its part of brash coffee or its an independent place just sharing the cafe..) but the lunch price there seemed a bit pricey ($7 for american style soup?) and $14 for a basic sandwich.
I only come here for the great views, vibe and place to get my work done, never had...
Read moreBrash is an excellent place to study, read, relax, or get some work done. The coffee is excellent! I've never been the type of person to drink coffee and actively think "Oh that's good coffee" But I do that whenever I get it from here! You really can't go wrong with any of the pastries either, the rosemary and sea salt bagel is chef's kiss. They've got lots of milk alternatives which is nice if that's something you need/want!
The atmosphere is top notch as well. It's located in a cute little part of Buckhead, which is nice. The store itself though is cute! It's got lots of natural lighting which is always appreciated. Also whoever is on the aux has got great taste in music, definitely contributes to the space feeling so cozy and chill!
In addition to all of that, the folks who work here are seriously so great! I could seriously shout any of them out, but Encar and Jade especially are awesome. I come here literally all of the time and they've only ever been super kind & approachable. They're also super knowledgeable about coffee which is helpful whenever I wanna branch out and try something different than the usual black coffee. Come check them out if you have a free day...
Read moreWon't be back, this was my first time coming to the BuckHead location to study and get work done. A redheaded guy working there said that even though I purchased something, that I had been there too long and I was taking up a table and I should be considerate because they had a lunch rush. He said that I could purchase something else and that my work did not need to be done at a table, even though my laptop and Ipad were out and I needed both to do my work. He was essentially kicking me out or to buy more things if I wanted to stay. Isn't the whole point of a coffee shop to get work done/focus???? He went up to another group of girls and did the same thing. IDK if he was having a bad day or was told to do that but this might have been the dumbest thing to tell someone to move for. The whole situation was just so weird, I was there from 9am-12:30pm doing work and had no idea he was keeping track of how long I was staying there. The coffee was good, but there's a ton of coffee shops in ATL that have...
