I’ve been a member since 2020 before the Buckhead park opened. They have moved to an app only checkin without providing any alternative for their clients. I offloaded the app from my phone because I needed the storage for other apps I use. Apparently the business feels it’s unreasonable to expect the staff to check clients in or to provide an online option for self check in as any other business would do.
While the staff is always bothered by my request (Except Johnathan?) to be checked in, they have all checked me in with no issue except one guy who feels it’s appropriate to chastise me as a client for not downloading their app. I don’t go back and forth. I only ask that they check me on or cancel my membership. It’s simple.
Yesterday he complained to their manager and I received this message today, again chastising me, for not using the app. Management is clueless about customer service and business operations. It is not the customer’s fault that they have high staff turnover. If they treat their customers this way, they probably aren’t treating their employees any better. They are ridiculous to talk to their customers in a demeaning manner (see photo) when I’m paying for a service. Since they clearly don’t need or appreciate my monthly fee, my membership is now canceled!
FOLLOW UP: I DO NOT APPRECIATE YOU AND YOUR STAFF LYING ON ME THAT I CURSED AT ANYONE!!! Your response is tone deaf and further illustrates your Incompetence, lack of professionalism and poor customer service!!! As a black woman I am also highly offended at your reference to me as “hostile”!!! I have responded to the rude staff member while he continuously berated me to “just do your job”, absolutely! At no point EVER did I curse!
What you did not reference was any “HOSTILE” behavior on my behalf being caught on camera because it DID NOT happen! That is a lie and a personal attack on my character! I don’t believe my response was unreasonable from a customer being subject to being yelled at repeatedly by your staff member.
A consistent theme I have observed in these reviews is the mistreatment of your customers, in particular, black women, and I have consistently seen the staff referred to as RACIST, to which I concur. Your lack of accountability for the staff at this business and failure of management to take ANY responsibility while blaming your customers in EVERY RESPONSE is sure to lead to future liability. As I stated, if you can’t properly staff your business forcing customers to check themselves in, then you should have an online option available.
Further, in a few interactions with certain staff, I requested that they check me or cancel my membership. There should be no further discussion once the choice is made to check me in. At this point, since you have chosen to refuse to check me in, I have chosen to end my membership. It’s simple. If you are the same individual writing each of these responses, please get yourself some help because you are INSANE!
LASTLY: Of course there were many people who witnessed the interaction. Your employee was yelling at me right in the middle of the field near the tent and I saw a few people snickering when it was over and I sat down.
I’m standing on what I said. You have cameras and you have witnesses who will attest to the accuracy of my...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer at Fetch Park for a long time with my English Bulldog, but today I had the worst experience I could ever imagine.
While my dog was happily playing with another dog near my table, a man sitting next to us had a dog wearing a shock collar. Out of nowhere, that dog attacked my dog — not once, but twice — biting her face and ear. My dog was never even engaging with this aggressive dog. The owner of the dog did jump in to separate them, but then told me my dog was invading his dog’s space. This is a dog park — dogs naturally walk around tables and socialize. Claiming “space” in an off-leash dog park while bringing an aggressive dog in a shock collar makes absolutely no sense.
What made the situation even more alarming is that only about 5 minutes later, another dog came near that same dog and it attacked again. The other dog’s owner was furious — and rightfully so — yet the man once again blamed her dog for “getting in his dog’s face.” That’s literally what dogs do in an off-leash environment: they approach and interact with one another. It was crystal clear that this dog was aggressive and should not have been there in the first place.
What upset me most was the lack of proper reaction from management. One staff member was kind, but the only thing he offered was filling out an incident form while my dog’s ear was bleeding. I asked for a manager immediately, and they called someone named Weasley. His response? He couldn’t come because he was at dinner with his family. How does a dog park that hosts dozens of dogs not have a manager available for emergencies? He told me to give him 24 hours to review camera footage — meanwhile, my dog was injured and bleeding.
The bare minimum I expected was guidance on what to do next — where to take my dog, reassurance they would take this seriously, or at least someone showing urgency. Instead, I was dismissed with a “we’ll get back to you.” Completely unprofessional, unacceptable, and irresponsible.
If Fetch Park allows aggressive dogs with shock collars, and if management can’t be reached in emergencies, then they are failing to provide a safe environment for dogs and their owners. After this experience, I can’t recommend this place to anyone who values their...
Read moreOne of the managers has really serious anger issues.
I was a member here for over a year and never had real issues until yesterday, when I was banned without any previous warning.
While I understand there are rules and members accepts them to join, I think there are very different (and better) ways to talk to people about it... Yesterday, this late adult blond lady in the bar (which seems to be relative to the Founder) came to me with a: "Do you think I am stupid?"...
It was the very first time I saw this lady, and this was the very first thing she ever tells to me!?
Just to let people know, I was eating a protein bar, and hiding it from the dogs (that is correct, from the dogs, not from her)
She yelled at me with all her anger, so I told her to calm down, I may have also ask her why was she so angry?... Which may actually have made her even more angry... She continue yelling at me but this time, she told me to leave the park... I was really shocked and surprise to even tell her to stop yelling, but managed to tell her an "ok" (in a calm way)...
I suppose not giving myself to anger made her even more angry as she looked to even more ways to escalate her "punishment", and added "And I am going also to add a Strike to your account"... Which confused me, I didn't even know that was possible, today I still do not know what an "strike" means.
I suppose that was not enough to satisfy her as today I received an email that says that I am banned from all the fetch parks forever...
This is happening on the very first month of my second year paid in full... I suppose I won't get a refund, and wonder if my yearly membership had to do with the decision...
In my opinion, that's overreacting, I was already planning on never bringing food with me anymore, but I didn't even had that chance.
I read other reviews with the same rating and I see some of them seems to be people having problems with the same lady, and in one she even replied with capital letters (I suppose that's the way she can yell at people over the web)...
So I am pretty sure she has problems (other managers would probably handle this situation better in my opinion).
I would suggest her to get help, as I do think...
