Update: I hosted my global team for 2 days at this hotel. It was early disappointing. Here are some specific examples:
(-) The audiovisual guy never showed up. I went down to the front desk to ask for AV help and they said they would call. 30 minutes later. No one showed up still (-) We had a breakfast meeting and breakfast was not there. It was pre-ordered and came late (-) On the second day, same thing with my yhe audio visual. Apparently not much learning is happening here (-) There is not a telephone or anyone nearby the boardroom, and you have to walk to the lobby on a different floor and wait in line to catch someone at the front desk (-) One of our guest flew in at night and ordered room service. They didn't provide any cutlery with his dinner. When he called downstairs they said the dining room was closed. You would think someone on the team could just get a knife and fork. This happened Monday evening.
We do these meetings nearly every month and typically at a Saint Regis on a rotating city basis. I don't think I'll ever host in the Atlanta location again. As I told the staff, I don't need super service- I just need them to execute on the basics. And this did not happen throughout two days.
Proud to have 35 million views of my collection of photos on Google maps. I am grading on a full 5-star scale and do so with an implicit price-value curve. I am aware that many others on social media may grade on a 3-point (4 being an average score) or 2-point scale (4 being a poor score), but the fact remains that Google gives us a 5-point scale. To me, 4 stars is great, 3 stars is average and 5 stars should be rare - reserved for true excellence or near perfection.

This is a great bar that lives up to the St. Regis brand. The architecture and ambience is high end classic. I've been here three times with various friends. The staff that takes care of the tables are awesome- fast, knowledgeable, kind. The bartenders appear grumpy and don't seem to want to be there, which is what keeps me from giving this five stars. They didn't do anything wrong but just not...
Read moreI wish I could give this place -5 stars. I went here last night (Saturday) and I regret every bit of it. First, I had to wait to get in, which was fine. That part didn’t take long. I am a food content creator so I was really excited to go to St. Regis Bar Atlanta, based off of the reviews. Anywho, I walked in and was sat at a table. This was around 10.49pm. My plan was to go out, have a couple of drinks and go home. 5min went by, no waiter. 10min, 15min. So at this point I’m wondering if this is something I need to get myself. The table was next to the bar so I was a tad confused at the lack of service. Around 25min in, I grabbed a waiter and asked if I was going to get service. He said he would serve me himself and asked what I wanted. I let him know it was my first time there so I need a menu. He brought the menu and never to be seen again. A new couple came and sat on the table beside me and got service right away. That’s when I stood up and headed for the door. It was 40min!!!!!!! 40min of no service! I ran into that waiter that brought me the menu and asked for the manager. He took his time to get him and when he briefed the manager, he came towards me but I had to stop him to ask him IF he was the manager. This whole time I watched him being briefed but he was about to walk past me. When I explained my disappointment, he said the waiter said I told him I was waiting for someone (which was a lie because I wasn’t waiting for anyone) and that he was sorry, they were a little busy. I said I understand being busy hence why I even waited that long but when it gets to the point a couple that came in 30min after I’d been there gets service, that’s unacceptable. I don’t want to think this is what I think this is but I’ll just say this was extremely bad, bad service. I will never...
Read moreMy visit to the St. Regis Hotel for afternoon tea was nothing short of a super amazing experience! It was my first time ever having afternoon tea, and it exceeded all my expectations. The environment was so pleasant and inviting, with soft, soothing music creating the perfect ambiance.
As the afternoon progressed, the experience reached a pinnacle at four o'clock. They performed a beautiful tradition of opening a bottle of champagne with a sword to mark the hour. It was a breathtaking sight, adding a touch of elegance and grandeur to the already magnificent experience.
This tradition, unique to the St. Regis Hotel, made the afternoon unforgettable. I am already planning to go back and relive this incredible experience. While it is pretty pricey, I believe it's worth every penny for the sheer enjoyment and sophistication it offers.
It's also a wonderful experience to share with little ones. Imagine dressing up your children, putting hats on the little girls, and enjoying a delightful tea together. It's a far more enriching and memorable experience than spending money on iPads or Amazon gadgets.
I highly recommend this to anyone looking to create lasting memories with their loved ones. The St. Regis Hotel afternoon tea is an experience not...
