I got the cold foam pistachio latte. Long wait to order and longer wait to get my drink (it came out after my warmed up pastry), despite not much going on and at least 3 baristas onsite. As the lady called out my name and I grabbed it, she said “make sure to stir it” and I saw three layers: brown tinted cold foam, milk, and pistachio green on the bottom… pulling out my “I was a barista in my past life” card, isn’t it just like, common practice to make sure syrups are mixed in there a bit? Like before you add the cold foam, just stick a clean spoon or whoosh the glass around a bit. lol.
Also, there’s supposed to be espresso in this right? I couldn’t muster the courage to ask if the espresso was in the cold foam or if they just forgot to add it into the latte. The cold foam was underwhelming and had flecks of brown in it so I assume was supposed to have espresso in it? It was just kinda watery and bland. The pistachio syrup was lovely. Read moreI love this place and have been a loyal customer. However, as of recent— the young woman Natasha who works the counter is extremely rude for no reason. Every time I come in. I was just in today and ordered a refresher as asking for light ice she rudely cut me off and said anything else. Additionally, I watched her call everyone’s name to get their drink and when it came to mine she completely ignored me and just sat it down. I figured maybe it wasn’t mine; after about 10 minutes I asked if it were mine and she said yes. I asked why she hadn’t called my name as she did others so I knew it was mine. She stated because I have headphone on, there’s nothing playing so I would’ve heard her.
