Sweet Red Peach — Restaurant in Atlanta

I literally stumbled upon this bakery on Uber Eats. I have a serious sweet tooth and was in search for some coconut cake. I didn't see any, so I opted for the very best next thing, a piece of German Chocolate Cake. Let me tell you, this is the best German Chocolate Cake that I have ever had!!!! You could taste the butter throughout and the coconut to pecan ratio was simply on pointe. You can also tell from the softness of the cake that they literally took their time making this cake the right way. My first order was 6 slices. My family devoured it and had me craving some more. So the next day, I decided to order the same order. However, to my disappointment, I got six containers that in my opinion, consisted of three pieces of cake in size. I ended up.calling the bakery to explain that I only wanted what I had asked for the day before. My original order consisted of a 3 layer cake. The next order only had 2 layers and was much smaller in size compared to my first order. I couldn't connect with the bakery but decided to call another location (The West End Food Hall) To see if I could get some resolution. Because the fact still remained that I wanted more German Chocolate Cake. I was greeted by a young lady named Dee Dee who went on to tell me that each Sweet Red Peach were their own entity, a franchise. But after hearing of my issue, Dee Dee was overly apologetic and wanted to do something to make the situation right. Technically, she nor her bakery were responsible for the other bakery's mishap. I didn't feel right accepting anything from Dee Dee, but she insisted on helping me in some way or another. So much so, that she was willing to contact the owner in California. Needless to say, I didn't get my cake... So the next day I looked the bakery up and drove there to satisfy my craving. Dee Dee was at the register and it was as if she knew exactly who I was. I was able to get 4 slices of a 3 layer German Chocolate Cake!!! I do not plan on sharing any of the slices with anyone!! They need to visit Dee Dee at the West End Food Hall!! She has a variety of cakes, peach cobbler, banana pudding, cookies, homemade ice cream, and more!!! As for me, I am super excited to see Dee Dee tomorrow. Yesterday was my first visit here while out for date night. The first thing I noted after the cute setup was how warm and friendly the ladies behind the counter were. There were so many delicious looking options to choose from I needed a few minutes just to decide.😆 I finally picked the peach cobbler and it’s brown and flaky crust coupled with tasty peaches did not disappoint. I was so happy to find a great tasting bakery nearby that I returned today with my mom, daughter, and daughters best friend in tow. Each of us picked a different cake as well as a cinnamon roll and ice cream. They all agreed that Sweet Red Peach made a delicious first impression. Whether for date night or just a family outing I plan to return. Keep up the awesome customer service and those delicious options...

Stopped by to try some desserts and let me tell you everything was delicious. Cake was perfectly moist and the flavor was on another level. The pound cake with peaches and cream cheese icing should be against the law because it was that good and addictive. My wife that claims that she doesn't like pound cake literally only let me get 2 bites out of it before she ate the whole thing. This is our new go to shop when we visit Atlanta. The owner was fabulous and patiently explained the different varieties and actually recommended the pound cake with peach cobbler toppings. She was just opening up and as she displayed these delicious desserts we had a great conversation.
