I arrived around 1am on a Saturday morning and the parking lot was nearly completely full, so I had to park around the side of the building. I parked right next to the dumpster. After getting out of the car, I heard a bunch of noise coming from behind the building. When I looked over I saw a family of rats scurring alongside the building and near the dumpster. While this was not inside the restaurant, it's still not a great sight. I placed an order over the phone prior to arriving. I was given a 15-20 minute estimate and I arrived about 10-15 minutes after placing the order. I ordered a small veggie pizza, no onion, add jalepenos & ham. I expected that one of the two toppings I requested would be considered a substitution and not charged for it. However, I was wrong and charged $2.50 for each topping. When I walked in, I was instructed to wait in line to pay for my order. I did so and was told to listen for my number to be called. I waited an additional 15 minutes after arrival before the cashier finally realized that my order had been ready since I arrived and provided me with the pizza. I mentioned that I saw the box he grabbed had been sitting there since I arrived and his response was, "oh, well it's still hot..." I would have spoken up earlier, but I did not realize that was my pizza sitting there as my name was misspelled on the box. Overall, disappointing experience. This overpriced pizza was not worth the money at all. Unless this is your only option, I would stay away and get something better.

2023.05.30 - What happened? The prices were always inflated, but at least the food quality used to be respectable. Apparently that has changed because the salty brick of semi-reheated, plasticized “cheese” covering a flat sheet of flour goo I was served isn’t anywhere close to being identifiable as the slice of NY lasagna I thought I was ordering. As for the “Stromboli roll” I also ordered, what I received could better be described as: dough stuffed with a watery mess of semi-warmed onions, some green pepper slivers, a few pepperoni slices and 5 additional sausage-flavored meat slices, then drowned in oil and loosely held together with the same plasticized cheese as the “lasagna”. It would take an iron stomach to keep it down, assuming you could justify swallowing it. Again, I’m not sure what happened to cause so many corners to be cut that what I was served is truly representative of two of Gino’s menu staples, but I hope management would consider refunding the $36 I was billed for those two items in hopes of salvaging a customer. Perhaps this was a fluke, but quality control definitely needs attention if my southern-born friend’s lasagna tastes more NY Italian.

I had heard good things about this place and was excited to try it, but unfortunately, I left disappointed and $59 poorer. This was easily the worst food I’ve had in a long time, and definitely the worst from a pizza place. Even Domino’s would’ve been a better choice—and I don’t even like Domino’s. I went here with my mom and niece, and we ordered a variety of items. I got a slice of Sicilian pizza (meant to get regular), my mom got baked ziti with chicken, and my niece got tenders and fries. The only remotely decent thing was the fries. Let’s start with the baked ziti: it barely had any chicken, despite the extra $6 charge, and was smothered in an excessive amount of cheese. The pasta itself tasted tough, like a wheat pasta, and the cheese was bitter. My pizza started out okay, but after a few bites the cheese also had a strange bitter taste—maybe it got worse as it cooled, but it was off-putting either way. Not sure if this was just an off day for them, but I won’t be finding out if that’s the case. I’ll be sticking with Fellini’s for now.

Okay so the pizza was great ! My experience was horrible! Me and my homegirl came in around 3:30 am on Monday morning. We ordered our food & a man WHO HAD ALREADY BEEN AT THE COUNTER began to make small talk saying he ordered the same type of barbecue pizza my friend got & also saying he’d been in there waiting on his food for a long time. The cashier is dealing with other people & I mistakenly grabbed the MERCHANT COPY of the receipt. No biggie I thought because I just ordered. We went outside to smoke & while we were walking back inside the man happened to be walking out and he opened his box and said “ mannn they are just giving away pizza’s, hope they give yall extra” , I said “oh shoot well thanks for that and have a blessed night”. Go back inside , give them my receipt and they’re telling me how they just gave that man our food 🤯! So a different worker goes outside and looks for him & then tells us he left. So I’m like okay sir can you just make us our pizzas? We then get into a full 15 minute back in forth because he’s telling me that I knew the man!? I just kept asking why would she (the original worker who took my order) give my pizzas to someone else?!!? They barely spoke English & that was very difficult because the language barrier was making it worse ! Up until I said I was about to call the POLICE did he make our pizzas. I felt like they were stealing from me - I wanted a refund or the pizza (and the worker was saying I couldn’t have neither) . I was truly disgusted because the original worker who took my order was just looking at me like I was stupid & I think Its because she didn’t speak good English! Never have I ever had a worst experience & I eat out a lot ! Please do better with putting a NY PIZZA place, in the middle of a BLACK neighborhood & all the workers are HISPANIC & speak zero to no English?! Atleast have some one who fluently speaks English at the register, because she would’ve heard our entire conversation with the stranger man who we did not know. & just because another black person says they “ know another black person” doesn’t...

It's good, just always ask for if they cross contaminate because they also have shrimp there. I actually saw one of the cooks in the back using his hands, his bare hands pulling out spaghetti noodles and putting them into a pot! I don't know why he didn't have on any gloves, or using some type of utensil?? I have no idea and then I asked my waiter if she could tell me if any of my ingredients have been touched after they had touched Seafood, she never came back to tell me and by the time I pizza was out! I mean she still could have told me if it had been or not because if it had they could have took that pizza back, and made another one! I just thought that was rude of her! Because me and my boyfriend could have had a serious reaction!

A note to the waiters and waitresses if someone is telling you that they have a seafood and nut allergy don't ignore the question or the comment just because their food came out. You still should tell them if it was cross-contaminated or not! I did however have a slight irritation in my throat from the crust of the dough. I don't know if they're dough has been processed through the same manufacturer where they do peanuts and tree nuts or shellfish, fish? The lady in the back when I called told me that they don't even use peanut oil or have nuts in there crust. All you have to do people is check the packaging and read the fine ingredients at the bottom after the ingredients. I hope this helps people out. Thank you I still choose Fellini's over this place because it really doesn't taste like a New York Pizza. It may be the style yes, because I have had New York style pizza before from New York oh, but it doesn't taste like it it's just the size people....
